People keep saying that Phyllis stood by Nick and Daniel when they were accused of things, but what they didn't say was that they were INNOCENT! She, on the other hand, is guilty. Not only that but she has never sacrificed what she wanted in order to help them. If what they wanted differed from what she wanted, she didn't stand by them, but instead threw them under the bus. Why should anyone stand by her now? |

Why should anyone stand by her now? Both her and Sharon thought Nick was guilty at the beginning because they found evidence and got rid of it. They stand by him but him! He disappears over the first bump. |

Quote Just Mary: Quote Backstreet: If Nick actually leaves Phyllis, now, when she needs him so much, and needs him to understand this, then I don't think that Nick should go back. Phyllis wasn't looking for Nick when he came begging back to her to begin with. He had been dating her and then slept with her sister. He wasn't exactly the guy we were looking for, for Phyllis because we liked her moving on with Ronan and being happy. Nick made this huge declaration speech to Phyllis about he didn't even know who he was when he was going through all of that mess with Sharon and how he sure he was of his true love for Phyllis and yadda, yadda, Nick, right? So, here they are, and here he is, faced with thier first really big crisis and it is about Phyllis, not Nick. Now that is a real switch, because each time they were faced with tramua and drama it was usually always about Nick and his co-dependent, toxic thing with Sharon or some murder rap that Nick had do. Where was Phyllis? Always there helping him and standing by him and even at the bitter end, when she had had it with him, she left him! So, it looks like if it ain't about Nick, he just bails. If Nick really loved Phyllis like a man really loves a woman, he wouldn't be walking out on her to go feel sorry for himself! That is pure selfish and that is Nick! For all that she has done for this coward? For as much as she has put her ownself in danger for this coward? For as much as she stuck by him, tried to find ways to free him, found his darn daughter for him!!!! If that cowardly little jerk wants to walk on Phyllis, let him. No. Nick should stay gone. He is too much of a coward to be with a woman like Phyllis. He is spineless and belongs with the family tramp, blending into the woodwork where he was for most of his life on this show anyway. Nick is a little boy trapped in a man's body and he don't have a clue what it means to be a man. He is better off at the tackhouse playing in the little sandbox daddy had built for him in his backyard. He isn't man enough for Phyllis! Loved your post! He needs to prove himself right here and now. Is he a man who respects and honors his vows or does he run off to Daddy and Sharon and cry over something Phyllis may have done 15 years ago? Remains to be seen but I will say, I like Nick a whole lot better with Phyllis than with Sharon. Nick will never be his own man with Sharon. He will always be a daddy's boy kept under control by the family tramp. And now that the tramp has done daddy, or even if they change it, the damage is done there. Nick would look like a fool going to be with a woman who has been with his daddy. Not everyone knew that he had done Diane, as nasty as that was, but everyone knows that the family service station has done daddy, so Nick being back with her would be gross for sure, but it would just demean Nick as far down as a man could get. And choosing the family tramp on the heels of leaving his good wife during her time of drama would just bring Nick so low that I can't think of anyone but the family service that would want him. Who could respect him? He is such a weakling and coward. |

He is better off at the tackhouse playing in the little sandbox daddy had built for him in his backyard. He isn't man enough for Phyllis! Funny! I could have sworn you were singing a different tune just days ago...About how they were the greatest couple on the planet and he would support her, bla bla bla...now he is a loser huh...did you really think he truly cared about Phyllis? LOL, he never had. I don't usually bother to keep track of exactly who posted what on the board I just judge the comments as they are written, not by who writes them, so I have no idea if the previous poster sang the praises of Phick in the recent past. But I do seem to remember a lot of Phyllis fans glorying in the re-union of Phick and stating, unequivocally, that Nick loved Phyllis with a real, true, mature, grown up love and would stand by her through anything, because of the strength of that undying love. I'm not seeing those same posts much any more but I am seeing a lot more Nick dislike. Looks like a number of the Phyllis fans are coming around to my view; that Nick is pea brained jerk. Wonder what made them change so suddenly? There was the interview done by both JM and MS that led Phick fans to believe that they were going to make it through this. We were wrong to believe thier hype and should have known that the show was paying them to try and keep Phick fans interested, while, in fact, they knew that Nick wasn't going to be man enough for the storyline. While I am always aware that the show pays these actors for thier interviews to promote thier storylines, this interview has pretty much reuined any much support for them. For the actors to be so desperate as to come out and just lie to the fans was wrong. What they didn't realize is that Phick fans were content not to have Phick. We were pretty much done with Nick when he didn't fight for Phyllis when she divorced him and just lazily took what was left. We saw no reason to reuinite them at all after that. So, when the writers decided to reunite them and marry them, we were all shocked about it. Now, we see that reuniting them was just a lead in to the bloodbath of Phyllis. We knew when Avery came on the scene and told Phyllis that she wanted to see her with nothing, destitute and in jail that the massacre of Phyllis was beginning and then they bedded up Avery with Nick and it was then that we knew that the writers were going to use Nick to gut Phyllis as part of this hate Phyllis storyline for this year. What we didn't like and didn't think the writers would do would be to send out these two actors to flat out lie to Phick fans just to try and manipulate them not to leave the show. Didn't work. MAB should have been smarter than that. LOL i don't think they flat out lied per se, i think that when they said nick would stay with phyl FOR NOW was true, cause he did, but since they can't give out spoilers they couldn't very well say that once nick TRULY BELIEVED THAT PHYL TRIED TO MURDER 2 PEOPLE, that he would leave her, which he did ... Trust me on this. Phyllis and Phick fans know exactly what this was about. MAB made a huge mistake. |

Quote Tambam: I want Phyllis back with Ronan! But I'm sure that's not going to happen! I loved that pairing! Very smoking got together. Ronan strikes me as a man who knows how to be a champion for the woman he loves and that is what Phyllis needs. Not some little rich daddy's boy who cuts and runs when the going gets to real for him. |

Quote rediculous: Quote Lucy3: Quote Backstreet: If they ever make Cliff Notes of your posts I might try and read a few. Until then I'll have to pass. Any point that takes that many words to be made probably isn't all that accurate anyway. Quote Lucy3: He may have to go back to her if he ever hopes to have a love life again. Very few women would be inclined to get serious with a guy who just might get them killed. If I knew that some psycho ex was biding their time to run me over I'd probably tell the guy thanks but no thanks. What most women would see in NIck now is that he runs when the going gets tough, he looks like a coward! Nobody cares about what Phyllis did 20 years ago and I, for one, sure wouldn't be worried about her coming after me and neither would most women. Women look at the man, honey and this man is looking like a kid with his thum in his mouth running home to big daddy to save him. What he looks like is a little boy who sits on his paper thrown of judgmental platitude like he has nothing that he has ever done in his filthy life. Nick always reverts back to being an innocent boy when he can't handle being a grown man and taking responsibility. That is why he stayed with Sharon for 10 years! With Sharon, Nick could always be daddy's safe little boy. Just look at recent events. Didn't he go back to work for daddy with Sharon? Oh, sure. He can' always go back to being daddy's little boy when the world gets to big for him and he can't handle it. Nick lived his life like an irresponsibile simpleton the whole time he was married to Sharon. That is why he became a toxic, co-dependent with her. They lived sick. Now that Nick has chosen to at least try and grow up and live in the real world, what does he do? He runs home to daddy, the minute things are too heavy for him. The ones I feel for are Nick's children, he lets them down much worse than thier mothers ever could. He is a weakling. A little momma's boy. A twit. He don't have a clue how to be a man and he probably, sadly, never will. I don't care what Phyllis did or didn't do, Nick can't handle being man up for this woman. He is still not strong enough to become his own man. Nick is a child, he has lived his miserable life like a controlled child in a very limited surrounding. He can't handle real life. It is like he told Sharon, when Phyllis dumped him. He wants a simple life with no trauma and drama. Sure, NIck. Life in that little bubble in Neverland is where you belong because out in the real world with real men, you are always left sucking your thumb. Poor thing all that typing and next to nobody reading, LOL. Alot of people have commented on how few people are coming to this board now. I noticed it to. Hardly any new posters and very few old ones as well. Just haters, mostly and there aren't that many of them either. |

She is woman enough, unlike Nick, who couldn't man up if his life counted on it. |

Ronan strikes me as a man who knows how to be a champion for the woman he loves and that is what Phyllis needs. Not some little rich daddy's boy who cuts and runs when the going gets to real for him. support is one thing, but having no real moral code is another. anyone who will simply stand by someone who tried killing someone else and act as though it were nothing is not a true adult. but, hey, to each her own! it must be nice having life easy with no sense of responsibility and not being surrounded by others to remind oneself that an adult life is not about doing whatever one wishes. children learn at under the age of ten what right and wrong really means and that they are not the center of the universe. unfortunately, some adults never mature to even that stage of development. it makes sense that expectations of others remains low when we expect so little of ourselves. phyl, of course, does demand perfect loyalty from others, but at the core what is at work is that she never aspires to become a better person and wants to surround herself with people who are as low as she is on the totem pole of morality. too bad for her she is finding out that they are bot as low as she thought. |
