Nick's time to pay

I really think it is time Nick got a story and did some real reflecting on what a horrible husband he has been to both of his wives. ITA it is way past time that Nick pays for what he has done. He treats the women in his life like crap. He needs to lose Phyllis and Sharon as well as his kids. Phyllis needs to cheat on him with Ronan and than leave him for Ronan because she is having Ronan's miracle baby. Now that would be justice since at the moment he thinks he is in love with Phyllis. Than when he looks for pity from Sharon she should slam the door in his face.

I am so tired of Nick getting a free pass!! Everyone insulting Phyl and Sharon?!?! Meanwhile everything you said and moving on to his sister in law and step mother?!? He's gross. And then he STILL has the nerve to judge everyone else for every little thing they do that doesn't meet with his approval. And also try to flip it on the other person to turn the blame which should be his to them! Nick makes me sick. I have no use for the character nor have I in a long time. Great post Tam and spot on. It time to stop blaming the women and put the blame where it belongs. It is a great post Tam and I agree fully with you and pugs!! Thanks Red  But the women keep taking him back!! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. And it's not like they don't know. They know he cheated. Phyllis knows he sniffed after Sharon for months while denying it and claiming that she was just insecure and jealous, and she knows that he did her sister. You can blame him for doing it, but you have to blame Phyllis for being so pathetically needy that she takes him back after knowing all that. Ok , I'll be fair here. I agree that BOTH women are stupid for taking him back. I don't think Phyllis is needy , I think she is so in love with the goof that she is not using common sense. And Sharon is just as bad. She has taken him back several times too. And if/when he goes back sniffing around Sharon , she will take him back just like Phyllis has. So both women are equally as bad as the other in that aspect. I do blame most of this on Nick because he has taken both women's love for him and used it against them. Love does funny things to one's common sense sometimes. Although I can say , because it happened to me, I won't take that kind of abuse, some people let their hearts instead of there heads over-ride what they know is right or wrong. |

Nick is the culprit in all of this...if a man wants to cheat he'll find someone to cheat with! Nick deserves to be alone! I'm still angry with Phyllis for taking that piece of scum back after he did her SISTER! Ewww, he is the lowest of the low in my book. Just waiting for him to turn his back on Phyllis when she needs him yet AGAIN. Nick's MO - when the going gets tough Nick goes too. Yep , he's gonna do it again. Hopefully Ronan will be waiting with open arms We can only hope

It's kind of hard to discuss any one character in a vacuum and since Phyllis isn such a big part of the show and of Nick's scenes these days I'm not going to make any apology for bringing her into a this discussion. I've been calling Nick the Prick a loser and a pea brain who just can't keep it zipped, for a long time now and saying that any smart woman wouldn't let him near her but even I admit that he hasn't done the same kind of illegal or horrendous things that some of the other characters (Victor, Adam, and Phyllis come to mind) have done so I don't see a need to call for jail or anything like that. I do think that Nick has been punished to some extent by the relationship he has ended up in. I won't describe Phyllis again because that seems to upset some Phyllis fans but even overlooking how it might be to be living with someone like her, day after day, Nick has the added problem that Phyllis will never trust him. She got him by cheating, then he cheated on her, she is never going to feel sure of him again. Right now she is busy with other crisis but if things settle down and she has more time on her hands I think that doubt will surface and make his life miserable. Apart from having lousy relationships, I think the worst thing that could happen to Nick is for everyone to see him as he is, a disloyal, unfaithful dog. Nick always seems to try hard to give the appearance of being a good guy, if he does the dirty on Phyllis again I'd love to see an article on him hit the pages of restless style and show him up as the louse he is. ICAM....BRAVO great post Would only add that Phylls feels secure for the moment because of Sharon being hooked up with Victor and that pissed Nick off. Once there is no more Shictor... her old doubts and uncertainties will resurface...even if she hooks up with someone else again |

I'd love to see a strong independant woman who doesn't keep crumbling imto the arms of some repulsive guy everytime he looks in her direction but I've been waiting years for that. Gene looked like sHe might have it in her, then she inexplicably crawled into grampy mcwrinkles bed. Phyllis took back brain dead horn dog Nick, because she "loves him soooo much". Sharon moved away from Adam amd then immediately needed to console herself by falling into old wrinkles arms. And how many times has Victor used and abused Nicki only to have her run back to the "love of her life'. Let's face it, the writers think all women are pathetic creatures who can't survive without a big strong man's arm's to fall into. UGH! |
