So you want Phyllis to hug Micheal and thank for arresting her child for something Micheal he did not do and on then hold him on evidence that is less than circumstantial evidence? It would not matter what the character did and many of you don't know the difference between Michelle and Phyllis so it is a total waste trying to have a good discussion with the lot of you. |

We are supposed to "respect" one of the most villainous characters ever to grace the screen of Y&R? Maybe people do go a bit overboard in their distaste for her at times (as do others in criticizing other characters) but Phyllis's behavior just does not promote respect for most people. |

Over and over and over again in scene after scene. Once in a while is okay for dramatic effect but this chick has now turned it into the character's obnoxious, annoying character. Enough...ENOUGH already!!!!!!!! Thousands of actors out there. Surely there must be someone who can play this character. If this annoys you that much, If this is so offensive to you and Michelle bothers you that much, maybe you should just not watch it. This woman has won two Emmy awards as daytime's leading actress in a dramatic role and has been nominated countless times for lead actress in a daytime drama. Michelle Stafford is very articulate and has an extreme command of the english grammar. With the exception of the baiters and bashers on this board, everyone else seems to admire this actress for her articulate command of the script and her very talented and skillful delivery. She won two emmies. I have read that one of them was for a supporting role; the other was for lead actress and it was 8 years ago so constantly bringing up her awards is kind of like beating a dead horse. I believe Maura West also had two emmies & many of us felt she was a superb actress & she was treated like used Kleenex on Y&R. |

Example: It's not Paul who deserves an Emmy. It's Doug Davidson the actor who deserves it. A don't spew that crap that Micheal is doing his job because he is not and that will be evident Tues Canada time. Why do you insist on spoiling the show by putting spoilers in a non-spoiler thread? Michael IS doing his job by arresting Daniel. He is following the evidence. When new evidence presents itself, that will be taken into consideration. As I have said in response more than once because I also know what is going to happen, Michael is NOT doing his job with Lauren. No one would expect Phyllis to thank Michael for arresting Daniel but she shouldn't be giving out her stupid death stare either. She is fickle friend and turns on others on a dime. she is what's called a fair weather friend-only a friend when it's convenient. If it's such a waste of time they why do you bother? |
