What's shocking is how Phyllis somehow avoided becoming a suspect. She has more motive than anybody and walking around town calling Daisy every name in the book, she even confided in Michael that she is looking to get rid of Daisy. Plus she blames Daisy for her misscarriage. |

Quote Pruny: Quote jtb1974: Anytime Michael or Lauren don't do what she wants she turns on them in a blink of an eye. She is a user. But she will go crying to Michael when her secrets are exposed. The only time she has any use for Michael is when she needs his help. When was the last time Phyllis went to Michael to see how he is doing?? I don't recall at a time. When she shows up at Michael's door you can be assured it's about her. I disagree! I know that this is just another one of those rediculous bait and bash Phyllis threads, lawd! We must have at least five of them a day on this board but I feel that it is only fair to comment that Phyllis is probably one of the most loyal friends on this show, and she is probably also one of the most forgiving. She and Michael and Lauren and Nick have been friends for a very long time and they have thier ups and downs but through thick and thin, they make it through and they are all friends for life. To be honest about it? I would prefer to have Phyllis as my friend than almost anybody else on the show because she is so loyal and she will always fight for her friends and she expects nothing less from them as well. If I were on a sinking ship, she is the one person on the ship that I would want as my friend because while everyone else would be dealing with petty weaklings trying to find out why the boat is sinking, Phyllis would have gathered us all together, told us the boat was sinking and brought us all to safety on a boat setting sail away from the ship. Whether anyone wants to face this woman's strength of character, that is just who she is. I don't give a flying fig about the garbage being dumped on this chracter everyday, she is probably one of the most loyal friends anyone could be lucky to have on the show and if you were to ask Michael and Malcolm and Nick, they would tell you just how loyal she is to her friends. Lauren as well. She has helped to save her life, more than once. LOL Phyllis forgiving? She is the most unforgiving person on this show. And Phyllis was so loyal to Lauren that she was baiting her to kill Daisy so Phyllis wouldn't have to deal with her anymore. And she was really lotal to Michael when she had him kidnapped. Or what about Jack when she schemed to breakup his marriage in order to save her own? |

Quote jtb1974: Quote vampiresrule: Quote Niore Beaute: Not only is she a horrible friend, but she is a horrible BEING. She is truly vile! IS she still sleeping with her kids grandfather? Sharon has nothing to do with this. Just like she will have nothing to do with Phyllis being exposed for the Psychopath she is. "Psycopath?" Here again, there is no respect at all on this board by fans for this kind of stuff. Nobody here really has a clue what this is about or how deep this really is. They throw around these words, "psyco," "Sociopath," "Psychopath!" It is sad that people can say these hurtful things and have no real clue what on earth they are even talking about. It is abusive and unkind to use words like this out of context and with such horrible disrespect. It is very offensive. |

Quote AdamPhan: I don't...I don't think ...she'd..she'd be so horrible if she'd..she'd stop this really annoying habit of...of repeating herself incessantly with her lines...her lines. Over and over and over again in scene after scene. Once in a while is okay for dramatic effect but this chick has now turned it into the character's obnoxious, annoying character. Enough...ENOUGH already!!!!!!!! Thousands of actors out there. Surely there must be someone who can play this character. If this annoys you that much, If this is so offensive to you and Michelle bothers you that much, maybe you should just not watch it. This woman has won two Emmy awards as daytime's leading actress in a dramatic role and has been nominated countless times for lead actress in a daytime drama. Michelle Stafford is very articulate and has an extreme command of the english grammar. With the exception of the baiters and bashers on this board, everyone else seems to admire this actress for her articulate command of the script and her very talented and skillful delivery. |

What do you call a person who intentionally runs over an innocent Woman and leaves her for dead? And shows absolutely no remorse about it. And actually blames the victim. I am sorry but that is a Psychopath. And that is jusy 1 of Phyllis's many evil crimes. A decent human being doesn't do something like that. |

And yes, Phyllis repeats herself way too much. Only her die hard fans disagree with that. Everyone else see's it. |

Okay maybe the last line was too harsh. I actually agree with you that Stafford is incredibly articulate and has some really intense emmy worthy moments. But in the last year she's slipped into this persona that just repeats phrase after phrase in scene after over and over again in scene after scene (check it out).. I honestly don't get it. And like I said as a device it's good once in a while but over and over again it loses its effect. Just my 2 sense. |

People who are frozen in the past are robbed of the experiences of the present while loosing all sight for the future. I have no idea what space in time you are caught up in but it seems by your comments, as best as I am trying to understand you, that your timelines are all over the place but have nothing to do with the present at all. Phyllis never encouraged Lauren to kill Daisy. I have read that in bait and bash Phyllis threads but it was never relative to the episode, it was only fan fic being exploited to bash Phyllis with. As for Micheal, Phyllis and Michael are lifelong friends. Jack? He adores Phyllis! Scheme? Jack was always glad to accomodate Phyllis, not matter what she did. In fact, she owed that skank nothing. Her marriage to Jack was a scam and Phyllis knew it. I didn't blame Phyllis for that at all. The skank deserved that. |

There is an incredible hatred for Phyllis by a handful of Phyllis haters who come to this board everyday and start bash Phyllis threads. There must be at least five or six a day. I don't disrespect them for not knowing the difference between Michelle Stafford and Phyllis Newman but the hatred is so diluted between the two, that one always gets the impression that they really don't know the difference between them. I have seen so many comments and tweets to Michelle, where they even call her Phyllis! It isn't about respecting or not respecting these poor fans who harbor this kind of dilluted hatred. It is about having empathy for thier loose grip on the reality of the difference. |
