The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

I am not ashamed to admit that their scenes made me tear up a bit.

Ricky and Paul talk in his room. Paul is looking for Eden and Ricky gets defensive again. Paul explains that he isn't accusing him, just wondering if he saw her. Then Paul tells Ricky he wants to be a father to him and to explain how he it was like growing up. Ricky really lays it out how miserable it was for him to have a absentee father and a mother in a mental institution. Paul wants them to try again. Ricky agrees and Paul leaves, but not before he swipes Ricky's room key and sees Eden's backpack, thinking it belonged to Ricky.

Kevin is still ringing Eden and then calls Paul. He tells them that he just came from Ricky's and she wasn't there. He was going to go look for her in the park. As he leaves he flashes to the backpack and realizes that it was Eden's and runs up the stairs. Ricky has the knife to her throat when Paul barges in. Paul is begging him to put the knife down. Tears flowing from them both. Ricky admits he killed Rachel, Craig, and Daisy. He blames Paul for what he has become and basically baits Paul to kill him. Again both are in tears. Paul is a mess, begging his son to drop the knife. Ricky stands with Eden and motions to stab her. Paul shoots Ricky in the arm and the force of the bullet pushes him backwards and out the window. You hear him hit the pavement.

The last part is all instrumental. You see them yelling but you can't hear the words. It is very eerie.

The previews show Paul looking out the window devastated.

Just from your great discription of the scene I can see DD doing it and knowing how well he does these kinds of scenes, well all I can say is he better get an emmy out of it. He has been passed over to many times in the last couple years when he has has emmy material.

Wow! I said earlier "Why did Paul shoot to kill? Couldn't he just wound him" and that is what he tried to do but Ricky went out the window.

Oh sooo sad. Thanks for confirming what our suspicions told us would really happen. Why couldn't the writer's let him live (just shot in the arm); evidently he's fallen to his death...probably on the knife to boot. Stupid Eden brought this on too. Yes, Ricky was a killer but it didn't have to come to Paul being the one to shoot him if she would have done the right thing and text'd her findings to Kevin and butted out.
I'm sure both actors play this very well. Anxious to see it play out. Our poor Paul...Avery can you please give Paul some "comfort"?!!

Wow. The show is about to start here on Canada's W Coast. So I'll be sitting on the edge of my seat. Already feel sorry for Paul.How stupid of Eden to go in Ricky's room and she took her time as well, kind of asking for trouble IMO.

Thanks for this very emotional spoiler. I can't wait to see it and may watch it more than once. I will save my comments about it until after I see it but I'm sure that the acting on both actors parts will be amazing. I'm so sorry to see Peter Port leave the show. He has made it exciting and something worth watching. And DD is also a very good actor.

AMAZING!!! AMAZING!! AMAZING!! Doug Davidson and Peter Porte, brought it. I couldn't keep my eyes off them. OMGosh this is what I know about DD that he is an awesome actor, woefully underused by the Y&R and I hope it changes.

US guys you will love it. Absolutely no complaints here. I am so sorry to see PP go, I hope to see him on my screen again. Wow!!
