And remember, back in 2008, someone had a limousine & we would all pile in with our favorite beverage (icy Coronas for me), nachos, chicken wings, etc. & dive bomb GC. I can't even remember those posters but they must be gone forever or we would be having a lot more fun than we do now. |

Too busy with other stuff right now but I have hopes of finishing some day. Well scratch that. I will be a grandmother in January which means I will be taking care of a 96 year old mother, a domineering Russian husband, a dog who bites me if I get out of line, a 32 year old child and the child's baby. I am trying to get more healthy though so that I can outlive at least some of them. (just kidding). THEN maybe I can write the book. I am still doing a bit of genealogy in my "spare time" & people are sending me great stuff like an autograph book from the 1800's full of flowery little poems and pictures of cousins in wasp waisted long dresses. I am in contact with a distant cousin whose ggf was one of the ambulance drivers who took the mortally wounded Stonewall Jackson off the field in 1863(?). We are going to meet in July when we have our annual family beach thing. Lots of new human interest stuff to spice up the family history book. And I am still collecting my data about the Snead's Ferry witch who killed her aunt with an ax back in the 1930's so there is hope of finishing something someday.  I miss you. Wish you were around more. |

Problem is, just about every person Jimjay named has been banned...and he is VERY well aware of that! They are also posters that he loathed, baited and bashed...and rubbed his hands with glee when they were permabanned. Now he may have lost his memory completely, but I doubt it...no, this is just another of his threads to cause trouble....he is excellent at doing that. He will now call his troops to come in for the attack....10, 9, 8, 7...... You are a loathesome toad Jimjay.  Are you being completly honest now? I have been on this MB longer than you, unless, of course you were here under a different name. The other Wombat and I had a problem and I never posted to him/her again. I remember very well how much a pleasure it was to come on this board and post. We were all having lots of opinions and discussions until trouble started. The board was invaded by some coming from another site. Most of the older posters wound up trying to defend over and over again and many were banned for that. Many good posters left for fear of being baited and banned. Since then the board has changed from what it once was. Bashing another poster usually starts more trouble. Sometimes it is best to just not bring up bad memories or discussions. |

You have such a rich background and it would be a shame not to put it all down some others can be awed by it. I miss you too and the good old days here but cha-cha-changes are part of life.
