    THEIR WAS A TWEET Rumor say-n GEN was fired last firday from the show....got this from another site...it didnt list who the tweet was from..I hope this isnt ture,i love GF

    I haven't heard that, but I sure hope that it is true! I hate GenV!!!! She is a dumb and useless character!

    Why do they have a Gen and then turn around and get rid of Ashley?

    I have no use for Gen either.

    Why do posters do this kind of crap. The rumour is being spread by someone who won't reveal the supposed twitter source and I'm quite sure by now most of the major twitter accounts would have picked it up. This person (not you OP) is board hopping spreading the rumour probably because they dislike the character. The post has no validity to me if she won't substantiate it.

    BTW GenV has nothing to do with Ashley or ED's situation.

    Agreed,love Genie and GenV. She isn't going anywhere and whoever doesn't like it will have to get over it!

    let it be true i hope they got rid of hers i cant stand hers they should gotten rid of hers instead of ashley shes is waste of air time and space on the soap let hers be gone

    Yes. I heard about it on Insider's Lounge that Genie Francis was fired last Friday, but it would be announced NEXT week.

    I guess if it is true, we need to just sit back and wait and see if there is an announcement or not.

    Frankly I think they have sadly painted Genevieve into a corner. I do not know what else they can do with her unless she is just brought out a few times a month like Daniel Goddard because they have made his Cane character boring too.

    I don't know if it is true or not about Genie but NB did put a blind item or whatever you want to call in his mag.


    He said that there was another person who was going to be let go from Y&R and that SHE wasn't well received when she first came.

    This was after the announcement about Yvonne and Eileen and also Peter.

    I personallly been wondering if in fact it is Genie because of the fact that Collin is suppose to come back and that can't be good

    I agree. What I think it is happening is that posters(not the OP)want this to be true. I definitely don't want this to be true and I don't think it is. Some people have been bashing GF every since she was hired. I don't believe that any actor should be bashed and I don't any other actor on Y&R bashed like she is. Some people don't think that new people should be brought in. I think it is great to bring in new people that other networks don't know how to respect. JMO. I hope I don't get bashed for this. I read an interview she did recently, and it didn't sound like she was being fired. She said her story was heating up in September.
