He should be mortified but he is buying his mother's crap hook, line and sinker. I cant say I blame him. I am sure he doesnt want to believe what a cold-hearted witch his mother was. Maybe once Daisy goes missing, knowing how his mother takes care of things, he will start to see more clearly. Cant wait to see how they all handle not only her past brought out but how they handle being suspects in Daisy's disappearance. |

Quote jtb1974: Quote trixie60: Quote jtb1974: And doesn't it make Daniel an accessory after the fact, even if that after the fact was 20 years? He is helping coverup a very serious crime who according to Michael the case is still open. This is what I thought also. Daniel could be an accessory knowing what he knows and keeping it a secret. He just found out about it and being twenty years ago, I don't think it would matter. It was a crime of intent to murder someone and that is serious enough for jail time, no matter how long ago it was. I also read that as of April 2012 Wisconsin change the statue of limitations law. It use to be 6 years for Attempted homicide but now they changed it and there is no longer a statue of limitations. And personally I think that's the way it should be for every state when it comes to a crime like that. i agree. at first my hope was that at least with sasha, being a new yorker, that case would not be closed, but of course she came to gc and was in a hotel there. i had hoped though that somehow looking into the sasha case would make up for what phyl did to cricket. i'm glad the wisconsin statute of limitations is no more on murder and attempted murder. |

Quote Castro: Quote trixie60: I agree that Daniel should be horrified and not take what Phyllis did lightly. But the writers have dumbed down so many characters that he is included in this. He should have told Micheal about what Phyllis did. I hope that he won't keep it to himself and not tell anybody. Protecting his mother should not be an option. Guess we shall see what happens next. I agree with all of the opinions on here thus fat but sadly...I have no FAITH in these writers! Phyllis is an evil witch and she should be held accountable for all of the hurtful and destructive acts she has done against too many people that did nothing to her but pose a threat (un-beknownst to them). The woman is jealous and unstable to say the least. Yes, the writers don't have the sense to write about the characters paying for their crimes and they should. It would make the show a lot more interesting. Your right, Phyllis should pay for all the crimes that she has done. Her walking around free is a danger to others. I don't care how long ago her crimes were. She was unstable then and she still is now. |

I hope not. She should be ahead of him in that suspect line anyways. I am pretty sure most of GC would come to his defense so there is no need to see Phyllis swoop in. Unless she wants to use it to manipulate him with it again later. |

How do you think she will come to his rescue? By pulling a Victor and confessing to the crime? I doubt that...more likely the recording that Ricky made of her, saying that she would like to kill Daisy, will 'come to light' turned in by Ricky no doubt. Although, he will have some, explaining to do about how he got that recording..or wait...in a well thought out story he would...with this idiot writing team who knows? |

This is why Daniel needs to get off pious high horse, moral superior attitude. His first thought..."we need to get rid of Daisy"! He just leveled the playingfield! |

Quote vampiresrule: Quote jtb1974: Let's say for a second that he is naive enough to believe his Mother's lies that the hit&run was an accident. She still drove off and left them for dead and Daniel should be horrified at his Mother's complete lack of remorse for it. He even sat there and listened to his Mom blame the victim. Daniel knows Christine is a very good person so obviously he can't buy into Phyllis's story that she had it coming. I am hoping Daniel is just putting this in the back of his mind for the time being because his #1 priority right now is getting rid of Daisy and having full custody of lucy. But then when that's all behind him he will go back and confront his Mother about her crimes. I feel your pain. Phyllis haters obsessed for years over the hit and run. This was suppose to make her lose EVERYTHING. Be careful what you wish for! I wouldn't be tossing the confetti just yet. LLB did an interview that said the truth comes out by fall. Daniel is now an accessory. Another great job Phyllis. |
