I don't know what happened with the H&R years ago as I wasn't watching it. Phyliss throwing that in Daniel's face is sad for a mother to do. Daniel was not driving the car when the accident ,happened, Nick thought he was,but still no excuse for Granny Red to say I helped you when you needed it, so for Daniel I guess Phyliss is expecting payback, not the same at all She stalked Chris and Danny and Paul could have paid the price. She also left the scene of the accident,which Daniel did not,he was involved in the accident and was a victim ,Mom was not. Grow up you selfish mother,You are disgustung. Why would you not help your son get cleared of false charges.

I think you missed the point. Phyllis was just saying that the evidence pointed to Daniel being guilty and she stood by him until the truth came out. Phyllis is claiming it was an accident but the evidence pointed to her being guilty and she didn't have anyone to stand by her at that time. She was not actually comparing the two events.

Phyllis actually DID the crime, whereas Daniel didn't. She knew Daniel didn't do it (as Sharon - yeah, the one that Red headed cretin is always tormenting - made Nick prove); but she knows she DID try and kill Christine; no mixing up break and gas; deliberate attempted murder. So for her to even try and gain Daniel's understanding or sympathy to back her for this horrific thing she DID, well... just makes me even more glad she couldn't carry another poor child into this world to use and manipulate. Worst mother. Ever.
