I can't help but think that still, this all stems from the fact that Nick is in love with Phyllis and chooses her everytime against the skank. Sure, Phyllis wrote some really great articles and they were all true. But this thumb in the mouth, petty attitude is beyond histerical. Nothing was anymore harmful than what the people she wrote about did to themselves. Since when does that get swept under the rug to try and hide that the skank of the city, the Newman family clap trap was taking up with her child's kidnapper? Big deal! Trust me, this arcaic relic that the writers have resurrected is going to be very empathetic to Phyllis and why she ran down the snooty Christine. As I have written many times, fans were cheering for Phyllis when she did this. To millions of fans, it wasn't anymore a crime than that snoot taking her child from her and holding her snot nose in the air in judgment of her. Yet, this crank still don't have a kid of her own or a man of her own. Phyllis is the EIC of a great magazine and it is her job to report stories. She wrote very informative blogs. Hate Phyllis all you want, but of all of the female characters on this show, she is the most interesting, she is the most skillful and independent and she is, by far, the smartest. I have no doubt this was one of the reasons the police charged Sharon for Skye's murder when she reported her accidental death. Because of Phyllis's article, they thought Sharon Newman was capable of murder.
    Phyllis is no journalist. She is just a gossip & muck raker & most of her victims are people of whom she is jealous .


    How do you think Sharon got out of the death of Skye deal?
    Who went looking for the camera? Who found the disc? Who knew the disc existed?
    When it was found in the water where Diane was found, who saw it and said that is the disc?
    Do you remember any of that? If not, I hope you look into it.


    I thought that was Adam, wasn't he also on that trip with Phyllis? And correct me if I am wrong, wasn't Adam the one who found the MC and unfortunately dumped it in the river? hmm.. the Phyllis show never ceases to amaze me..


    it was Adam and Phyllis looking for the camera. Phyllis found the camera from a small boy. They were both trying to help Sharon. The disc was missing so Phyllis went looking for it. She bought alot of disc and then had a friend try to sort it out. The disc was discovered and Phyllis gave it to Adam to turn over for Sharon. Adam was going to do just that when he saw Sharon with Sam and he got upset, walked up the bridge and threw it in the water.

    Phyllis later found out it was missing. So she told who had it last. Adam kept saying it was to late. Phyllis was in Ronan's office when he had all the evidence from the death of Diane. Phyllis reconized the disc and had Ronan get someone to check it out and see what went on. They saw and heard what they needed to hear to free Sharon.
    I believe Sharon even Thanked Phyllis for that.

    As I remember it, it was Adam who kept looking through the disks after everyone else gave up and walked away, at one point I think he even had Noah helping him with that. He was the one who actually found the disk with the evidence on it, that is why he had it, to throw in the water later when he was angry with Sharon.

    Also, he was the one who found the camera when the big Hawaian guy had it, and realized that there was evidence there that could save Sharon, then the guy woke up and whacked him on the head and left with the camera.

    I don't care of Phick stay together or not. I hope they do because I can't stand Nick or Phyllis. Phick makes my FF button way happier.

    I just want Phyllis to get a good dose of her hypocritical crap. I want HER splashed on the cover of some trashy magazine for once and I want HER to STFU about everyone else for a change.

    Nick is a dumbass. I doubt he even knows what day it is.

    I see nothing at wrong with this post. It's all true. And I have said this before, this is a soap opera, therefore I was one of the ones cheering Phyllis on when she ran down Cricket. And I was pissed off at her when she failed. I don't care about the past. Phyllis is a CORE character and she is not going anywhere and she'll be just fine.

    What I find so very strange here is that you think these people she wrote about are such saints! If there is to be full disclosure in jounalism then why not have all journalist disclose thier faults, misdeeds and crimes. I can't help but think that still, this all stems from the fact that Nick is in love with Phyllis and chooses her everytime against the skank. Sure, Phyllis wrote some really great articles and they were all true. But this thumb in the mouth, petty attitude is beyond histerical. Nothing was anymore harmful than what the people she wrote about did to themselves. Since when does that get swept under the rug to try and hide that the skank of the city, the Newman family clap trap was taking up with her child's kidnapper? Big deal! Trust me, this arcaic relic that the writers have resurrected is going to be very empathetic to Phyllis and why she ran down the snooty Christine.     Whether or not what Phyllis printed about Sharon was true, why has she tried to hurt Sharon over & over, long before Nick left her & got Sharon pregnant? Up to that time, Sharon had never done a thing to hurt her. Her articles hurt Noah too, her step-son who she claims to care about. When she was accusing Adam of murdering Skye and implying Sharon was involved, this was not truth. Skye was alive & living the good life in Hawaii. I have no doubt this was one of the reasons the police charged Sharon for Skye's murder when she reported her accidental death. Because of Phyllis's article, they thought Sharon Newman was capable of murder.
    Phyllis is no journalist. She is just a gossip & muck raker & most of her victims are people of whom she is jealous .


    How do you think Sharon got out of the death of Skye deal?
    Who went looking for the camera? Who found the disc? Who knew the disc existed?
    When it was found in the water where Diane was found, who saw it and said that is the disc?
    Do you remember any of that? If not, I hope you look into it.


    I thought that was Adam, wasn't he also on that trip with Phyllis? And correct me if I am wrong, wasn't Adam the one who found the MC and unfortunately dumped it in the river? hmm.. the Phyllis show never ceases to amaze me..


    it was Adam and Phyllis looking for the camera. Phyllis found the camera from a small boy. They were both trying to help Sharon. The disc was missing so Phyllis went looking for it. She bought alot of disc and then had a friend try to sort it out. The disc was discovered and Phyllis gave it to Adam to turn over for Sharon. Adam was going to do just that when he saw Sharon with Sam and he got upset, walked up the bridge and threw it in the water.

    Phyllis later found out it was missing. So she told who had it last. Adam kept saying it was to late. Phyllis was in Ronan's office when he had all the evidence from the death of Diane. Phyllis reconized the disc and had Ronan get someone to check it out and see what went on. They saw and heard what they needed to hear to free Sharon.
    I believe Sharon even Thanked Phyllis for that.

    Don't you remember when Phyllis was hanging out at the police station going through evidence that should have been against the law to do? You know, Ronan couldn't stop her. Out if a handful of junk she saw the memory card and by golly it was the ONE. How lucky was that? And then she went double timing it down the aisle in the courtroom behind Ronan and everyone managed to keep a straight face at the stupidity of it all. Surely you remember. The judge asked her ""who are you"and Ronan introduced her. (like any judge would even allow that, or care).

    And some do. For all those fans who don't want to see the past revisted, there are just as many (if not more these days -- not because they like Christine, but because they hate Phyllis) who do want to see it all come to light. As you said: It is a soap opera. It was bound to happen.

    Also of course she isn't going anywhere. I don't think anyone realistically thought that was going to happen. None of these people will ever go to jail or truly pay for their sins (except Michael), and I am fine with that. But her being miserable for weeks while everyone turns on her is good enough for me.
