    What was the point of the Victor/Sharon pairing?

    I know this isn't what is going to happen - but a girl can hope. I really hope and pray that it was all a set up, by Victor, to get Nikki to admit her feelings for him - and that Sharon was in on it. Now - don't jump down my throat and tell my I'm delusional - I'm NOT delusional - I know it won't happen but, as I said, a girl can hope!

    Sharon will soon see that she's just another name on a long list of women who Victor dumped when he got bored or found someone more interesting.Nikki's interest in Victor's life goes way beyond their bond as parents of Victoria and Nick.It's not just Sharon,she's never wanted him to be with anyone else.They've been divorced a long time but Nikki has sometimes referred to herself as Victor's wife.She still thinks of the ranch as her home and it's not.She shouldn't just show up whenever she pleases and walk right into Victor's house.He should have put a stop to it long ago.It's disrespectful to whoever he's involved with.This was a stupid s/l and it's only purpose may have been to put Nikki and Victor together yet again.

    i wish. only thing is, sharon and he kissed in private and he led her upstairs. still, during the barn fight sharon seemed reluctant to really go after nikki and i wondered if that had to do with the directing and sc's respect for mtc or if it might actually be something along the lines of what you two are saying. i read a spoiler thread, though, and i think we're all hanging onto hope here!
