Quote Blue 501: None the less, Daniel DID marry Daisy & shunning her & yelling at her is playing with fire. If no one in the world cares about Daisy except her baby, why should she stick around to share that baby with others? Adios, amigos

Agreed. And just because I may not like a character or relate to a character doesn't mean I can let myself take the easy way out and simply ignore where that character is coming from. I wouldn't bother watching if I didn't want to examine POV. That's the whole fun of it and where the complexity lies. I don't excuse Daisy. Many on the MB who don't simply dismiss Daisy are not unable to see the negatives but they are actually looking very closely at her and are good viewers in the way that people who read a text closely are good readers.

Daniel didnt force her to marry him. She black mailed him and told him if he wants lucy he must have a family with her as well. Daniel married her to get access to Lucy but shunning the father out unless he dates you is also evil. She knew he didnt love her even when he proposed till he slept with her, which in her twisted mind meant "he loves me" He didnt kiss her at their wedding and left her drunk and passed ot on their wedding night. I am sorry, she did that to herself. having a child with someone shouldnt mena you are stuck being with them forever. Daisy made it that way and Daniel didnt have another choice. Are we forgetting that she ruined daniels' custody chances by getting her own daughetr kidnapped by psycho Ricky? How is anyone suppose to love this biatch. Lucy does but she's been with daisy like 2 months and doesnt know what daisy's done.

Great post - I think Daisy had good intentions and I see her really struggling and trying to be good.

But she should have helped Phyllis.

What Daisy did ( walking away while Phyllis was screaming for help) is not 'right'.
Just as Laren pulling a gun on Daisy in a department store was not 'right' either but what they both did is understandable given the background they both had with the other person involved.

Daisy has no reason to like or to trust Phyllis just as Lauren has no reason to like or to trust Daisy. Both of them let their troubled relationship with the other person involved push them into making a bad decision.

If she wouldnt have brought daisy back in the first place to take the baby away from Billy and Victoria she woudln't even be here!
Quite true. Daisy left her baby in a church and for all she knew maybe the baby had been adopted by a couple across the country somewhere. So in my opinion when Phyllis looks at what a mess things are in she can blame herself, and her constant need to win no matter the cost to others, for them being that way.

Phyllis was horrible to fight for HER GRANDCHILD. Billy spent 2m for Lucy. Phyllis should have left Lucy with Villy and when Lucy got older and ask why her own family didn't want her. Phyllis could tell her what?

Well now...if we're going to play the blame game, let's go all the way back to where it began.

If Shelia's parents hadn't had sex, Shelia would have never been born only to grow up and give birth to Daisy. Daisy would have never drugged Daniel and gotten pregnant. There would have been no baby for Billy to BUY and no reason for Phyllis to bring Daisy back to town.

My point is,you can blame anyone for anything. The fact is Daisy went to Phyllis' apartment and got her upset after Daniel asked/told her not to.

I believe when Daisy visited Phyllis it was without malice. Phyllis is the one with her histrionics that turned it nasty.
No one on this show takes advice or heeds warnings spewed by the stellar saints.
As far as Phyllis' stress level it is due to her own machinations that she was stressed. Two days before she forced herself into Tim Reid's apartment, tossed around some boxes and left him quaking in his boots with her veiled threat. Has she owned up to this? No, and she never will.

Exactly, which is why I can understand what Daisy did even though it wasn't "right".
