    Summer's Paternity?

    Does anyone remember the scene with Nick and the paternity test about Summer, when Phyllis didn't know if her baby was Jack's or Nick's? Till this day I believe Summer is Jack's, I just wish this would surface.

    I think they played that scene that way just to leave the storyline open, in case they ever run out of ideas. But with this current crop of so called writers, I doubt they'll go down that route.

    Every baby born on this show needs a paternity test to determine who the father is - Summer,Reed,Faith,Moses and John.Summer is a teenager now,the writers should just leave Nick as her father.

    Big deal....Lily was either a teenager or in college when she found out Malcolm was her real dad. I don't see why her age puts her off the table...might do some good and knock the wind out of her self importance.

    In my opinion another'paternity shocker'is just another recycled storyline.Can't we have something different for a change.I don't really care who Summer's father is.

    there has NEVER been a hint that Summer was not Nick's daughter, Nikki, Victoria and Sharon all said that baby Summer was the image of Nick and Noah when they were babies. And if Jack had any doubt, why hasn't he said he wanted another test done in the past 16 years? Nick took the test, Nick got the results, Phyllis had no way to change the test and even when Nick left, she called the lab for the results and they flat out told her that they could not tell her the results due to the HIPAA laws.

    I really don't think they care weather or not some don't like, they will write what they want and eventually it will get addressed because that is why they left the door open for a reason.

    They should go ahead and address it now that Phyl's past will come back to haunt her. That way Nick has an easy out with no ties to his doormat mistress. Plus, could you imagine the way Phyllis would likely flip out!?! She'd probably go on another panty raid but this time all the women of GC would be at risk!

    There have been way to many paternity issues on this show. The writers should just leave this idea alone and have Nick be Summer's father. That story line would be boring if we found out otherwise.
