I loved watching the epi again this year as much as I did last year. I probably got more emotional this time around. I'm sure the Shadam fans enjoyed the flashback Shadam scenes as much as us Shicks enjoyed the Shick scenes, but no matter how hard I try, I can not get emotional watching scenes w/ Sharon and Adam. And seeing the lashbacks of themreaffirmed that for me today. I just don't buy it. |

I am a fan of Sharon and Nick as well. That was a true love story...now its turned into a train wreck. I wish for a reunion but at the same time I belive it will be short lived and yet another sad ending! |

Quote noony6: Quote vampiresrule: Nick was handsome when he was younger but he was so easily manipulated. And that white knight complex he had nearly destroyed his life. Glad he grew up! I have to agree with Sharon. Adam saw her as a friend and a lover. Nick saw her as a project. Nick had 10 years with Sharon & two wonderful children. He would never go back & change that, regardless of the problems they had along they way, problems that THEY BOTH created. If that's true, then he is very stupid and he deserved to be beaten up, thrown in prison, all the other nastiness that came his way. |

Quote Jackie10: Being a Shadam fan of course I loved the Adam flash backs. But I am curious about what you said as a sign of Sharon possibly leaving Y&R? How could it point to that just curious to your thinking. I got a new admiration for her acting...it was great!!! I just thought it was a strange day to show this epi...like a foreboding...I hope I am wrong... I have watched Sharon for over 20 years... |

So your saying he should regret that has Noah & that he had Cassie in his life for the time he did? You really think he should regret having the children that came from that relationship? Or how about the love that they had for very many years? Just because life deals you some hard times you should just scrap 15 years of your history? That just sounds sad to me... |

Quote noony6: If he deserves to be beaten and put in prison for his years with Sharon he surely must deserve the gas chamber for what he's gone through since their breakup, don't you think?

All the nastiness in his life happened when he was in grief about Cassie, and let Phyllis the spider into his life... |

Of course he shouldn't regret Noah, that is his child! Nick is partially responsible for Cassie's death, so yes, if he hadn't let her go out that night she might still be alive! So in that regard they both would have been better off without the other. |

So in that regard they both would have been better off without the other. Of course they are always going to regret letting Cassie go out, but those are the "what if's" of life...we can't control what happens at every given moment. They could have kept her in that night & a tornado could have hit & killed her. Or she could have gone to school the next day & gotten hit by the bus. If she wouldn't have been there that night, Daniel might have tried to drive himself home after he woke up & gotten killed, or killed someone else. There are so many what if's, & parents that lose a child will never stop asking themselves those questions. But why on earth, just because you lose a child, would you want to go back & never have had that child? He would have missed years of the love & laughter that Cassie brought to his life. Cassie changed Nick for the better the day he met her. If Nick were the kind of guy that could just say, I wish I'd never met you, Sharon, & would have preferred to live a life without his children he wouldn't be the kind of guy I would have EVER rooted for, & I imagine neither would many others! |
