How are these couples even paired!?! Obviously age is just a number especially on the soaps.. Sharon is 40 and with a 70 year old man.. but that is ok.. Lily is with a 40 year old man and she is 22.. that is ok too.. so being a cougar myself I see no problem with Phyllis dating a younger man.. and to me 5-10 years is nothing.. I am not a tucker fan.. he is too small for phyllis.. she would tower over him. Ronan and Phyllis were good I liked them.. but still if I have to pick phick over shick.. I will do it every time.. I hate shick and so glad the writers seem to hate them too..  I'm the opposite...would pick Shick over Phick. However, I don't want a Shick, just want Nick alone and to suffer. Hell, I liked him with Avery. Phyl was good with Ronan b/c he "appears" her equal (even in age). Nick just looks too young for her and she treats him like a child. He's a doofus. I hate the age things on soaps and wish they'd stop. I have no problem with a cougar. I just have a problem with Phyl b/c...well, I hate her. I was hesitant to enter this thread but your post is pretty much spot on. Although I would take Phick over Shick, I would love nothing more to see Nick single for once and not breaking someone's heart. I don't really see Phyllis as a cougar but I do agree that both SC and MS look ages older than him even though they are clearly not. |

I tuned in last week just to see the Phick "blueberry" death scene. It was predicted long ago that kid would be a "tock". |

Phick should never have been reunited...the death of this "miracle" child #2  is just the start. Phick is pathetic and putrid. There's no amount of writing and endless propping that will make palatable in any shape or form. They were forced from day one. Still are.  and the thought of her getting pregnant again is too much...it'd be insane to go there again. |

The writers are trying sooo hard to make Phyllis out to be this YOUNG and hip character, but long-time vets know she's well into "high-risk" pregnancy territory. Summer was her "miracle" child, so their endless efforts to cement Phick even more is just laughable. I just can't wait for the day (and I'm sure it'll come) when it's revealed that Summer is Jack's daughter! |

I do not like Nick in this pairing,never have,his character is an airhead.Mind you he has never had the sharpest mind but he did show flashes of a man. |
