Quote hopey pix: Firing Ashley and not bringing back good characters like Sam is another thing I hate about Y&R now!!They don't listen to what fans want!!And I don't know why they have to dredge up very old s/l's with Phyllis always!!They never even brought back Deacon to wrap up his storyline with Nikki!!And I want to see Danny and Christine back very much!!It's taking forever for them to come on!!And I doubt they'll be on long!They weren't on long the last times they were back!! Bwahhhhaaaahhhhhaaaa! He was a bore!!!!!!! BORE! Duh get it? Get a life. He's not on the show for a reason. The show isn't fun when geezers date their daughter in laws. gross. I'm disgusted. but let's keep bores out. The show needs all the help it gets. |

No doubt there are some people out there who like it or who will keep watching because Y&R has become a habit for them. I however have already taken your advice and stopped watching. I'm still checking in on the forum though since I am curious as to how many viewers will hang on despite the sucky writing and how long MAB and the present production team will hang on to their jobs. |

If you don't like the show, no one is forcing anyone to watch it. I don't want this soap cancelled!! I finally found some I someone that I agree with. I respect other people's opinions, but don't agree. You are not going to please everybody all the time. I didn't like Phick, but I didn't stop watching. I don't like Sharon and Victor(who does), but I didn't stop watching. I don't think that soaps are going anywhere because people don't want to watch reality TV take over their shows. My mom don't want soaps and she ever said that there was too many reality shows on tv. I think that something does need to change and it is the writing team. People in my opinion don't need to be wishing for something to happen. I know that it is hard sometimes to support a show, but I think that we need to show that even though we don't always like the writing, we love the show. JMO. |

What we love is not the writers coming up with insane plots and secenarios and expect us to follow it like sheep but make it as real as possible so that it has some plausibility |

When that is changed, the stories will change. unfortunately the writing team is making Y&R what it is now and they are destroying the viability, of some long term characters. Personally, I see no point in watching a show that is bad today, just because it was good three years ago and, even if they replace the present moron writing team with better writers, unless they do it soon, this group of pea brains will have done too much damage to the characters to bring them back successfully. |

I don't want to see this show get cancelled at all either!!I hope people stop calling fans favorites boring!!I 'll say it again!!They need to bring back Sam,and get Chance and Ronan back for sure if that's their intention.Keep Danny on this time and start having him sing again!!I remember he had a concert in the 80's where I live and I went to it and loved it!!He was like Beiber here!!Very popular in the 80's!!I also went to a shopping mall where he appeared,(Danny,who I'm writing about)!!And I had one of those polaroid instant cameras at the time,one girl wouldn't stop bugging me until I gave her a photo of Michael Damian!!It was a great time for soap fans in the 80's!!How I miss those days!!I really hope they keep Danny and Christine.There is really too much Phyllis yet!!And how about bringing back Malcolm for Sophia.Neil has really had his day!!Sam,Piper,Chance,Ronan,Danny,Christine,Malcolm,Dru,and not changing Ashley,that would be a great improvement!! |

If the writers of the Y&R would listen to its fans then the show will not be cancel and they will keep their jobs. Another SHARON AND ADAM RELATIONSHIP will most assurely lead to the end of the show |
