We all remember MTS last year thought she was done and I think she would have been but for her fans taking to social media. |

I figured it had to be something.She's been around forever on this show.Bottom line is....ya can't always get what you want. (if thats what it turns out to be) Thanks for the 'update'. Sorry Ashley can't be portrayed like someone who marries their baby's kidnapper or has sex with her father-in-law. Or maybe she should rape her man like Daisy or Chelsea did. |

Quote ski lady: Ashley will be missed by so many. She is beautiful and a wonderful actor. What are the writers thinking? So many new, undeveloped, uninteresting characters on the canvas and a long-term, loved character is let go. So sad. Totally Agree with you....Unbelievable

Quote grammapam: The thing that I keep going back to,is that no-one is let go from a show without good reason.We may never know,and it's really not our business.Why would you get rid of a 'core character' unless you had reason to?It must be something major.Think about it. Having said all that,I will miss ED.She brought Ashley to life in ours homes every night.I will miss her playing the part and wish her nothing but the best for her future. She first aired on March 9, 2007.[7] ...After she was fired from The Young and the Restless but before being cast in The Bold and the Beautiful, her niece Devon Martt, a fashion designer, approached her about designing clothes together. Randisi, a mystery set in the soap opera world titled Death in Daytime, released in October 2008. She followed it up with three sequels: Dial Emmy for Murder (2009), Diva Las Vegas (2010), and Swinging in the Rain (2011).[8] In July 2008, Eileen was downgraded to recurring status at The Bold and the Beautiful. She returned to The Young and the Restless full-time as Ashley on September 26, 2008. She does make a lot of money on the side, so she probably didn't want to accept the huge pay cut that SONY was demanding. She probably didn't want to sit around if Ashley was going to be nothing more than Abby's 'advisor' in life. |

I think it's a shame if they are letting her go. And I hope it's not so they can have all these younger characters on for the summer...it's kids of characters we care about but still. The Abbott family needs to remain a presence. There is so much story they could do for her...Vic is at loose ends, she and Sarge IMO had some chemistry, getting back at Tucker or finding out she is pregnant...I so wanted Ashley to have Katherine Chancellor's grandchild. |

If it is because of money, I don't know why actors can't be like most other people today and take a pay cut. At least it would still be a paying job. There are millions of people out of work right now that probably would have rather taken a pay cut than lose work. At least she has her books on the side to bring in money. |

they also said victor was let go and was fired to and he was gone for a long time then he had a changes of heart and cames back, jeanne cooper said once the money doesnt matter to hers |
