Quote pdames4: Out of the nine episodes I haD taped, I watched friday's and deleted the other eight and felt as though I hadn't missed a thing. The way I look at it is CBS daytime is slowly going down the tubes, first Guiding Light and now Y&R, although Y& R will hopefully improve. I hate the way they are portraying Phyliss. She's always been conniving, but she did have backbone. This entire s/l sucks. ITA, I remember as a little girl I would run home to watch GL then in later year I just coundn't watch it . I have been watchin Y&R since I was a kid . When it starts to get boring like right now I'll stop watching and come back to it later. |

Quote Darlotto: this view has already left and now is watch the much improved Days of our Lives. I tape the Y&R and fast foward threw all the crap aka Cadrian. I only watch the scene's with the vets and egnore all the new characters. when Jack Smith and Kay Alden r put back in charge of the show thats when I return full time. Don't hold your breath waiting for Smith and Alden. Kay is consulting for OLTL and that show is doing exceptionally well, plus the show fired Dena Higley. Some fans wanted Alden to be made the headwriter but are happy that she's still consulting. There has been a definite change in the show. You should just start watching OLTL. Come on over to the board and let the rest of us catch you up! |

Quote G Noronha: The only reason I started watching again was when they brought Eyal on as Professor Korbel and he got involved with Colleen. Love these two together, but they have changed the s/l and they are hardly ever on together anymore. Since he isn't her professor anymore looks like they could do more things together and have some special romanic moments as a couple dating,ect. Would love to see their relationship blossom. Looks like they are bringing that art story back and I hope he finds out the treasure belongs to his family. Now that you mention it...I haven't seen Cadrian in any recaps from like the past two or three weeks. I was actually shocked to be flipping through the channels and see Colleen. So these two broke the rules and Colleen defied her father so they could be together (like she did with JT) and now they're a non issue? They're just wasting talent over there! |

i agree calpurnia. adrian and colleen went thru so much to be together, only to be put on the back burner. actually, i'm not sure that they are still on the stove. i can only hope that the writers have done that so that cadrian can have a sizzling summer without people getting an over dose of them. |

I don't watch anymore, I just read the recaps. The storylines are just not creative or interesting. They either wind up things too quickly or not at all. Also, there is nothing original on the show. Oh wow, another plane crash with the amnesiac victim missing. Another baby born who could have 2 or more fathers - but don't trust the DNA tests because they're so inaccurate (a lot of death row inmates would be glad to know that! ) Blackmail! How original is all that? The the constant dropping of the preverbial ball on storylines such as Cane/Jill and Adrian/Colleen. I am so over it all. 5 minutes to read the recap on a website and I am all caught up. |

Quote pussykat: I love Y&R...I think it is the best soap on. I just go with the flow...it's just pretend...I don't try to rationalize any of what goes on...it's entertainment! I do wish Nick would return soon, he and Phyllis are my favorite. You're right. its SUPPOSED to be entertainment. LML said in the past that she was drawing her story lines from "real life" experiences.. Id like to know who’s.. She must have given that thought up.. Because there is nothing realistic about ANY of the storylines going on at the moment, nor has there been in some time. |

Quote heart and soul: After reading through some of the posters messages about Y&R Storyline, I can't help but say: BRAVO!!!! I couldn't have said it any better. The story lines are starting to read like Bold and the Beautiful. No one one the show can be trusted, everyone is telling lies and keeping secrets. Put truble making Amber back on Bold can't stand her!
1The storylines are boring. 2Fans are getting upset that no storyline is wrapped up and finished before a new one comes. 3The dragging of punishment for Phyllis and Gloria will take a toll on the viewers and they will stop watching. 4.Too many s/l going at once, too confusing to viewers. 5.Writers, get your act together and bring Y&R up to #1 . |

My wish is that the people who are posting on here would use some sort of spelling and grammar check device before talking about the writers. At least they people they write are fake.. |
