What...no surprise party? Balloons..streamers...nothing?

Oh well...I'll just throw a pity party for me...oooh...2 bottles of Baileys from cyber to me...splendid!

You are all invited but as there is a shortage of Baileys, please byo...oh...and a plate, with food on it!

But seriously, thank you all for your prayers and thoughts...yes Cyber...they do help.

I'm really a sore and sorry sight atm...but time heals all. Closest I can describe it as feeling like what they throw in the bin after filming a commercial for a new 'Slice And Dice Kitchen Essential.'

They took a few samples from my lymph nodes to check...but I won't get those results until I see the surgeon in a couple of weeks....but apparently the nodes looked very good.

I wouldn't have gotten out so early, 'cept I found the vent in the hospital room.

The best I could find was Tweedledum and Tweedledumber to feed the horses while I was in hospital and when recovering at home. Tweedledumber (who actually picked me up at the hospital yesterday,)rings me this morning and says, "How did you go...did you get the horses fed?"

They came out to do it, but I will be taking over the feeds again tomorrow...sigh!

You are one tough little kritter, Wombie. I am so proud of you but I sure did miss you while you were in "lock down". I am so grateful that you are doing so well. Please be careful & try not to overdo. Can't the Tweedles help out just a little longer?

I just saw a post and thought my eyes were deceiving me. It is really good that you feel like coming back I think we all were worried about you. Actually I "know" we were but since I gave another poster a little lecture a couple of hours ago about speaking for everyone I'll just say I think.

Seing as I am too sick and sore to do any housework here,
I thought of something else I could do to contribute.

We have had to light so many candles for us all lately, that we ended up with a whole heap of candle stubs....so I said to myself, "Self, why not combine all these left over stubs and make a nice big Communal Candle that we could all share?" And Self replied, "Wombat, what a lovely thoughtful thing to do, with you being so sick and all. "

So I melted them down and started stirring. (Would have helped if everyone had stuck to white ones. ) I mixed them confusedly together, and added lots of Love, Friendship, Faith, Hope and Loyalty. When the wax cooled, I molded it tenderly with my own fair paws.

It's on the windowsill...it's that psychedelic thing that resembles a psychotic gargoyle.

Anyway, time for some more pain meds.
