Small plates with forks, napkins, and two cases of water. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Thanks, Snow, that's very nice. Please stay for a while. And here's a hug!

Thanks Blue. For the nice quiet restful day, the weather has even become fitting for the room. Sunshine, alittle breeze and with the flowers blooming, the fresh smell of the many fragrances surround us.

Quote countryMomof4: I'm always ready for wine, ESPECIALLY when I am shell shocked.

Happy Birthday Abysmal. Ice cream cake and beer? I confess I've done that before.

I am afraid I had ice cream and a couple of glasses of a drink with gin & citrus in it last night, trying to feel a little better & fell dead asleep on the couch just sitting there. My husband woke me up at 2 a.m. & made me come to bed. I was stiff and sore & had a terrible blood sugar. So I am off the "sauce" today but enjoy. I am fine with tea today. Have some Sweet & Beet chips. (sweet potato & beet chips. Lots of vitamin A)

Good idea! This club is open to all kritters. I can't wait to get Humphrey on my lap. I am not going to pick you up b/c I read never to pick up a grown wombat. You are grown, right? If not, stay out of the wine!

Ah. A refuge. This is nice. Kinda like a bunker. lol

Welcome Abysmal. I don't know how to play pinochle but some of the other ladies may. I do know all about ice cream cake and would adore a small slice! Do you know how to play Hearts?

*slides slice to blue* I love all card games but the only one I can't get is bridge. Oh I love board games also. And puzzles. I'll sit for hours over a jig saw puzzle. It's my form of yoga lol.

Yum, delicious! What flavor is it? I love most card games too but have no one to play with. It infuriates my husband to see me playing cards on the computer. Bridge is just my favorite one but it's a hard game to learn & you have to play all the time, with real people, to stay good.

Oh I see pretty much like pinochle. Knowing the melds and bids.

My cake is a fudge and chocolate crunch between layers of vanilla ice cream. I'm in heaven.

How lovely. Perhaps spring is here.

The peach tree in my back yard is in bloom - looks so pretty! Will be awhile for the persimmons, tho.
Ahhhhhh, this is nice - relaxing, calm - I can feel my blood pressure lowering.
I found the perfect sofa for a client's living room today. The only question is if she'll like it. Just kills me when I see a perfect piece and the client can't be talked into it.
That birthday cake sounds lucious - I'm pretty much off sugar but I may make an exception.

Quote richardburton: Exactly how many off topic pity party comfort threads do you grown and misunderstood women need? This is just so childish and immature. No wonder so many mature people are leaving this site. Dont you all have friends in the real world?

Sorry you don't agree with some wanting to put out the fires that happened here over the weekend. I think it is rather healing, but that is just me.

I dont know about any fires on the week end but if there were this is only a message board and you take it serious in real life. Oh wow, how sad. Put on your big girl pants.
