Canada gal, I agree. I understand the desire to bring awareness and publicity to a disease so people can understand it and get tested. However, I always find such stories extremely depressing and not entertaining at all. I watch soaps because I want to escape not because I want to be slapped by reality some more. I don't know what the answer is, if there even is one, but I really don't want to see a death caused by cancer. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure both actors would knock it out of the park. It's just that it would be incredibly depressing.

That said, Stemp, you could be right. It would be a catalyst for Adam to go dark and I could see him getting angry at Victor and the rest of the Newmans as they never accepted her.

Personally, I really don't want to see Adam all upset over this chick he barely knew. He hasn't even known her for a year. Honestly, we, the viewers, don't really even know her. She's a complete question mark for us because she's been shown as having two completely different sides. Who knows what the real Chelsea looks like.[/quote]

This is exactly how I feel. I have a real problem with Chelsea. It's not just because I am a Shadam fan because I do understand that this is a soap and couples break up and get back together all the time. It's because she was just thrown into a s/l that made no sense to her character. First, she is introduced as a con-artist who drugs and rapes Billy. But then all is forgiven and forgotten and she is instantly redeemed in the span of what felt like two minutes...one day she is a con artist willing to do about anything to make a fast buck, then almost literally the next week she is turning down Victor's millions to leave town. I think I got whiplash watching her morph from one character to another. It just happened much too fast and leaves the audience really wondering who the heck she really is. I don't know her nor do I trust her.

Sharon was looking good today! Glad she is not going to just take what they throw at her. And glad she has Leslie on her side.

I, for one, don't think Chelsea has changed at all. Like you said, she changed way too quickly to make it believabie. I still think she is up to something. On the off chance she really has changed, (which I doubt) just remember-What goes around,comes around. Something will happen that causes her "fairytale" life to come crashing down around her. I'm looking forward to that day! I don't think she has been forgiven the people of GC. She doesn't have any friends. Chloe tries to be nice to her only because Adam is an investor in Tag&Grab.
