1)SFP is now Executive Producer. All this means is that she's in charge of the buisness side of things. I don't think she will ACTUALLY do the writing. JG is now head writer. He was writing for Y&R before being fired by MAB. He wrote for Lane & the Winters family. I remeber yrs.ago the Winters having some pretty good sls. At least, JG knows the show's history, & SFP has won 7 Emmys. That's unusual for primetime--much lest daytime. She must be doing something right. This could turn out to be good for Y&R. I'm keeping an open mind.
2)MAB was asked to end Shictor last month because of low ratings & viewer outrage. She didn't do it. So, what does she do? She marries them! IMO, this IS NOT good story telling & was possibly done out of spite--like she was saying to her bosses "Nobody tells me what to do." You just don't do that to the Boss & expect to keep your job, no matter what buisness you're in. Sounds like power went to her head.
Have you girls noticed since Chadam has been married, they are alway drinking. It's like Adam has to have a drink just to be w/ Chelsea. He never drank when he was w/ Sharon; now it seems he's drinking all the time. Just an observation.
You girls don't have to agree w/ me. these are just my thoughts.
Understandable sometimes I feel like I need a drink just to watch them.

Shadam is soap gold!! I think its great that we are getting such clues to what is coming. Adam is still very much interested in what is going on with Sharon and the selfishness is starting to seep out of Chelsea..... cant wait for the big blow up.
I agree. I love the excitement in the air for our Shadam. I have high hopes for these new writers. I cannot believe that they will not see that Shadam is the future on Y&R. Sharon is the princess of Y&R and will always be so not some newbie.

In my opinion the ratings took a hit when they split up Sharon and Adam and put Sharon in a barn for 5 months. Then the crap they put them through the rest of the year was rate killing. They hit their high when Sharon and Adam made love in January and February then plummeted again when they split Sharon and Adam up for no go reason. TPTB need to pull their head out of their arses and fix what is broke put the ratings catching couple back together again and leave them for awhile.
