I know we all hate this Adam/Chelsbore sl. The way I see it; this proposal & now anouncing it to eveyone so soon is moving way too quickly. Chelsea isn't the little princess Adam thinks she is. Sounds like something is going to happen very soon that willcause all hell to break loose & ,hopefully, make Adam come to his senses & see the real Chelsea (& the REAL Chelsea WILL come out.) I'm thinking Anita comming back to town W/ her big news will cause trouble for Adam & Chslsea. I have NOT given up on Shadam; although I know it looks bad right now. I just can't see Adam moving on so quickly after all they've been thru together & their deep love for one another. He love Chelsea as a friend, that's all. She does not own his heart & never will. Chadam will NEVER LAST!! THey don't have a history that would keep them together at the first sign of trouble; & I'm counting on MAMA coausing a rift in their "happiness."Since Anita is returning, that will give Chelsea something to focus other than Adam. Maybe we can enjoy him w/out Chelsea. Hang in there, ladies. Hopefully thing will turn around soon.

I have to admit. I would love to get my hands aroung MAB's throat for writing such a ridiculious sl. This is her idea of redeeming Adam? Having him fall for an admitted con artist/rapist that no one likes? SICK!!

I have seen some of the spoilers and chats about todays eppy I still havent seen it dont know if I will bother even ff to it.

They had just fought about the fact she is DATING HIS FATHER and he still had her back.

Again.... I agree with every word. Its becoming a habit, lol. I think Adam having Sharon's back through this Shictor mess is huge considering what they have been through in the past. I also agree that with Chadam, Adam is loving the worship happening. Chelsea has nothing else to focus on.[/quote]

And I think that these writers have no grand plan or no forward looking idea of where this is all going. I think they are scurrying around every week trying to put shows together and often, on the spur of the moment, do things that paint them into corners that they then have to use ridiculous plot twists to get themselves out of.

If they do bring up some sort of DID/mental illness story to get Sharon out of responsibility for the Shictor hook up I'm sure that is what is at work. I don't for a moment believe that the writers were planning this mental problem from the beginning, they are just reacting to the huge outcry from fans about Sharon's character being ruined.

I also don't think, when it started, that they had any plan to take the Chadam story as far as it has gone. The whole way it started as buddies and friends with benefits didn't speak of that type of romance now, for some reason (maybe fan disgust with Sharon and some fan liking of Chadam) they have decided to rush ahead with mad love and engagement.

ANy time a character gives a long speech explaining why something that doesn't seem to make sense does make sense, I think you are seeing the writers trying to sell a plot line which they know is weak. Watch and listen to Adam's speech to Chelsea in todays US show for a perfect example.[/quote]

I'm still keeping faith for Shadam..I'm pretty stubborn so its gonna take more than some regurgitated lines from Adam to Chelsbore to make me waiver on my love for this couple. I still believe they love each other, never stopped..and we'll hear it when they do reunite.

I can't wait to see how Sharon reacts to Adam's news and how Adam reacts to Sharon's reaction. lol! We all know that when they are in a room together everyone else disappears.

I so agree with everyone, Adam is trying so hard to convince himself that Chelsea is his future. The US episode today for July 4 shot no fireworks off for me. I thought it was pathetic. I thought Adam and Chelsea were lame, and I thought Victoria was right on. We have to know, eventually Victor will inject himself into the mix, especially if Chelsea continues to be a threat to Victoria, even if it is only in her mind. I hope we are getting to the apex of this storyline and it will soon become a battle for Adam. Long-term fans know well enough that cute, happy, good old times do not last. When you take a character like Chelsea, who is established as a con artist/rapist, and turn her around to be Miss Cinderella, misunderstood Chelsea, then it definitely will not last. Not in soap land. Not in MAB’S world.

I agree, there is something lacking in their relationship; I think it is “PASSION”. Sometimes it seems line MM and MCE are just “phoning in” their performance. Adam’s eyes and body language certainly lack the intensity relating to Chelsea, compared to what he had on his feelings/scenes he had with and about Sharon. Even Chelsea, at times, seems less than enthused. My question is whether it is lacking because it is being written and directed for them, or is it because the actor(s) MM (and possibly MCE) do not have a “PASSION” for each other or for their storyline. I hope that is how it is written and directed, and if it is, then we can all be sure that SHADAM will be back. To me, Adam is beginning to look pathetic. Either Chelsea is doing a giant con or she is in for a big big fall. It is just taking time, but for many supporters of Adam (and Sharon) time is running out. I think I am included with that group.

The problem with being a long time viewer, over the years you remember couples that have come and gone, but many that have been written so the viewer has gotten invested and attached to. That was SHADAM..........that is not Chadam. Because of the lack (of something), the only thing to attach to Chadam seems superficial and short term. Hence, as a viewer, no reason to invest in them on an emotional level.

I am afraid, unless they alter the direction of this “vanilla” Adam, he will soon become the status of Neil Winters/Cane Ashby, etc., a character seen one day a week on Wednesday! If I were MM, what reason would I have to renew a contract if that were in my future, especially when the talent he has will bring him many, many more opportunities.
