Shadam Fans Only NO BASHING

They made her so vile in her entrance. There was no need for any of that! She could have just been a regular old con chick that falls for Adam. They didn't have to make her the rapist of Adam's sister's husband. Talk about putting him in a freaking corner. It is like Abby can't forgive him because of what he did to her mom. I get that. Nick can't forgive him for a whole slew of reasons. Understandable. But Victoria? They really had no REAL beef. Now they do. UGH. As for Chelsea apparently not raping Billy. GMAB. She TOLD Adam she drugged him and then slept with him. Not to mention when Jill, Billy, and Victoria accused her of such she didn't deny it. Everyone refers to her as having "drugged Billy and taken advantage of him" -- it is canon now. I get that the fans don't want to see her as a rapist but oh well... she did it. Doesn't change that she is trying to be better now. You have to take the good with the bad. |

I personally think that Sharon will bow out gracefully concerning Chadam. They have to have their 'lovey time' before real angst comes or what's the point? |

It should be interesting watching Adam really come to gripes if he is TRULY over Sharon or if his love for Chelsea is just him overcompensating. I do think he cares for her, but I also think he loves that for the first time in a long time someone was ALL ABOUT HIM. I loved Shadam, but Sharon was torn a lot. Adam and Nick were very back and forth with her heart. Chelsea is all about Adam and I think that fascinates him. I also think he sees her as warped and craving for 'normalcy' like himself. Adam was tired of being the Satan of GC. Chelsea was being treated like yesterday's trash by everyone. They were loners who were commiserating. If Sharon finds herself in a weird place, I can't see Adam stand by and not do anything. Chelsea will learn really fast that Adam will do just about anything for Sharon -- as displayed by him helping her with the Newman Cosmetics line and preventing that board member from embarrassing her. They had just fought about the fact she is DATING HIS FATHER and he still had her back. That speaks volumes. Again.... I agree with every word. Its becoming a habit, lol. I think Adam having Sharon's back through this Shictor mess is huge considering what they have been through in the past. I also agree that with Chadam, Adam is loving the worship happening. Chelsea has nothing else to focus on. |

I think they are scurrying around every week trying to put shows together and often, on the spur of the moment, do things that paint them into corners that they then have to use ridiculous plot twists to get themselves out of. If they do bring up some sort of DID/mental illness story to get Sharon out of responsibility for the Shictor hook up I'm sure that is what is at work. I don't for a moment believe that the writers were planning this mental problem from the beginning, they are just reacting to the huge outcry from fans about Sharon's character being ruined. I also don't think, when it started, that they had any plan to take the Chadam story as far as it has gone. The whole way it started as buddies and friends with benefits didn't speak of that type of romance now, for some reason (maybe fan disgust with Sharon and some fan liking of Chadam) they have decided to rush ahead with mad love and engagement. ANy time a character gives a long speech explaining why something that doesn't seem to make sense does make sense, I think you are seeing the writers trying to sell a plot line which they know is weak. Watch and listen to Adam's speech to Chelsea in todays US show for a perfect example. |

She is more needy even that Sharon was. He is treating Chelsea the same as Nick treated Sharon. Like she is helpless and needs him and it is easy to be the big brother instead of lover, the motto being if you dont give your heart away it doesnt get broken. One lady has his heart and she has stepped on it, kicked it and stabbed it with a NM knife and he still loves her and wants to protect her. He did not use Chelsea in a vengeful way to stick it to Sharon which is what Nick did with Phyllis. Adam loves Sharon and he doesnt want to hurt her. This I am sure of. I just do not want to see the Sharon/Adam/Chelsae boring triangle for 10 years Sharon just found her true love and I do not want it turning into another Sharon/Phyllis/Nick story line. |

I understand that it is hard to write a soap for some. But to me a soap should be like a book played out on the screen. I do not understand why there is no continuity or flow. If I were writing I would be not 6 weeks down the road in writing but 6 months. With plenty of filming going on and time to change something if its not working. |

If they don't reunite them then Y&R will be permanently over for me.
