I have an uneasy feeling that we are in the middle of one of Victor’s “Plans” with the Shictor/Chadam pairings. When has TEVN ever let anyone say “NO” to him, as Adam did when Victor asked him to lie/cover to the SEC about BoN? In addition, I do not think Victor has been a “forgive and forget” person, surely, he holds both Sharon and Adam responsible for losing BoN, especially now that Jack has bought it! |

We cried, laughed and worried for and along with Adam and Sharon over the last three years as they became an integral part of our lives. I too cannot accept that what they both endured was all for nothing. Why would anyone want to throw that magic away? i know I don't understand why the writers would end Shadam and throw all that great chemistry away. I'm hoping they'll rethink their decision and bring this amazing couple back together again. I don't think they over for good but I guess time will tell. |

Finally, I remember there was some talk between Tucker and Lauren at a Newman Board meeting, was that about the new cosmetics division??? (can someone with a better memory verify that). I would love to have Chelsey exposed to be someone with a very dark past, or to be Victor’s daughter or niece. And finally, because I have no fondness for either the character Chelsey or the actress MCE, if the rumor is correct that AMC/OLTL will be returning to ABC, I hope she is the first to return to her former show. Do not mean to be cruel, but I love SHADAM, and anyone who seems to be an impediment to them I want removed. DOn't worry about your memory, the writers don't seem to remember what they have written either. Lauren and Tucker were miffed that Victor got the new cosmetics division, with Sharon heading it up, by the board as they voted against it. IT sounded in one conversation, as if Lauren and Tucker were hatching a plot to throw Victor out as CEO, or at least to curb his powers but, as with so many things, that seems to have been dropped/forgotten by the writers. Now, since Lauren resigned from the board when Vic fired Michael, I think Tucker would need to find a new playmate on the board if he wants to try to bring Victor down. In any case, to the best of my recollection, that was all based on one conversation. What I'd like to know is what has happened to the new cosmetics division? It was part of a lot of scenes, trips to Japan by Victor and Sharon/Nick and the new division supposedly won the lucrative Japanese contract. Now Nick is busy all day holding Phyllis' hand as she has her series of meltdowns and Sharon is busy rubbing oil on Victor's creaky shoulder and making him cheese plates and I have to wonder, who is taking care of business. |

JB was MCE's brother-in-law on AMC's and they are friends. They certainly may have "chemistry" and I could see them pairing Chelsea with Ronan. 3. As far as MCE pimping Chadam I thinbk she is just happy to have a job ,since AMC was cancelled, and likes working with MM. She might be a little worried that they will not last for long so she is trying to hard to promote them. It also may appear that she walked into Y&R a took the leading actor away but I really can't imagine the writers would drop a super-couple for a chance that Chelsea and Adam would work. 4. Ratings have not gone up which is prof that Chelsea and Adam are not working. The followers that they have gotten are basically the fans who do not like Sharon and a lot of that has to do with the way they are writing Sharon right now. Sharon may be down but she is a key character on the show and she will be back. 5. I am just as disappointed as everyone else but I still truly believe Shadam will be back because Sharon and Adam's scenes are still being played off each other, just like Nick and Phylis they were never taken out of each other's orbits neither were Sharon and Adam. When a couple is dropped, like Chloe and Ronan were, they do not run into each other or have any form on contact. B.Capet, I am suspicious of all these followers that Chelsea and Adam have all of a sudden. My take on it is that many if not most of them cheering her on now are her fans from AMC It's probably some of that and a lot of people who just don't want Sharon and Adam together. I wish there was a way to see how many people actually like Chadam without it being full of people making up several names to vote more than once or people who are just happy to see Adam away from Sharon. I, honestly, cannot see how people think the Chadam relationship makes sense. It is so borng and childish. |

They only want Adam away from Sharon that is plain. I am sure she is a delightful person but I just don't like her character. Not only is it an impediment to Shadam, it's also just not necessary. Her character doesn't need to be in GC. We didn't need to flush out Jeff's character because he's always been one who is only on sporadically. No one's been craving more information about him. We don't need her to stick around to provide angst for Villy as TGVN does enough of that himself. It also wasn't necessary for her to be here to provide angst for Shadam as they have more than enough as it is. Avery could have easily been used as a friend that causes Sharon to get jealous. We simply do not need the Chelsea character. I do not understand MAB's obsession with bringing people from other failed soaps to Y&R. We don't need or want them. |
