I may come off a little bitter..but at this point I don't care. I'm not one to bash actors or actresses, so I hope this doesnt come off as a bash but I AM NOT impressed with MCE's acting, can't see the hype around her and I resent her swooping in and getting main storylines out of nowhere..her character is a poorly written, useless, immature, grifter that doesnt deserve to be paired with Adam. The SID article sounds like one big promotion for Chelsbore.

I don't know who to believe anymore..MM said Adam would have his own storyline with no love interest yet we have MCE gleefully propping the "Chadumb" pairing everywhere she goes and to anyone who will listen..

Right now, I will be just happy seeing Sharon get herself away from Victurd and re-building her life..I have no interest in watching Adam declare his undying love for Chelsbore or playing second fiddle to her- holding her purse, standing in the background while she deals with her lame daddy issues, or wiping her tears as she whines about every goshdarn thing..Ugh! Its not "cute," "adorable" or "sweet" to me.

FYI-the reason why the rating is so low for Y & R is who's watching Chadam. There is no drama, no nothing for Chadam vs Shadam. TV and soap is about drama. Nice to hear fr/ you, shadam. Love your post. Wish I had answers to your questions, but I don't. Both the Shicktor & Chadam sl.are totally unbelievable. I don't, for 1 min., believe Adam really loves Chelsea. After everything Shadam has been thru?! GMAB!! The writing is so silly. They're playing the viewers as fools. If there is no improvement in the next few mos., I'm gone, too. I think Y&R will lose many fans. They have no one to blame but themselves.

You know, guys, I've always been surprized that Jeffery turned out to be Chelsea's Father since he isn't a major character. I thought, & I still think her father is Victor since Vic & Anita seem to have known each other in the past. Maybe this is Anita's "shocking" news. DNA tests said it was Jeffery, but who knows how many people working in the hospital are on Victor's payroll. (Or maybe Victor doesn't know) If this were the case, it would certainly get her away fr/Adam. But I am probably wrong. Wishful thinling.

Do you think they would go there? It would be so incestuous, I mean they would drive fans away in droves. I for one would stop watching honestly.

It would be a new low even for them. I think the secret is Johnny is not Billy's baby. If so poor Vikki.

I wouldn't put anything past these writers. Victor is sleeping w/ his ex daughter-in-law who he always treated like a real daughter. That seems a little incestuous to me. Seems like w/ these IDIOT WRITERS--anything goes.

There were at least 4-5 pictures of Chelsea/MCE in the magazine so yes they are definitely biased towards her and Chadam. I am surprised they didn't "fix" the poll to show Chadam with better results. Yes I read the mag while I am at the store but I will never buy it. The only time I would ever buy it is if Shadam gets to #1 and I will buy it, tear the poll out and send it to MAB!

I hear ya, I have no idea why they did this, this stupid engagement is so ridiculous, I mean they have only been shown a handful of times and now Adam is madly in love with her??? IMO this is Adam 2.0 and I do not care for this 2.0 character. Adam 1.0 would never have fallen in love with someone else so quickly, yes he may have found physical comfort and/or companionship but Adam 2.0 has basically totally dissed the love he felt for Sharon. As a Shadam fan I am ticked because I feel like I gave my heart and soul to this couple only to have their love be all about nothing. Even if we see Adam start to turn "gray" again I don't think he will ever revert to Adam 1.0, that Adam I fear is long gone because even if he returns to his "gray" side, as long as he is with Chelsea, he is still a sappy, wimpy dude IMO, I'm sorry but to me Chelsea "de-ba**s* Adam, he does not have nowhere near the sex appeal as he does with Sharon. Sorry for my rant guys!

Just wanted to comment on what MM actually said about "love interest". What I recall him tweeting was, that something big was coming up for Adam and that it had nothing to do with other characters or love interest.

Let me add that I have been watching Y&R for 17 years and only became truly hooked when MM took over the role of Adam. I am an ardent fan of our couple and I am heartbroken at what has happened to them. I am trying to remain positive however because I can't see how Adam's feelings would have changed overnight to "madly-in-love with someone else" There's something wrong there. I haven't forgotten the moment when he was reluctant to leave Sharon and him saying to her "I will ALWAYS love you" I am pinning my hopes on that.

Yes we are all heartbroken over what they have done to our couple, seemingly with no explanation. Its one thing when a couple splits apart to "shake them up" usually when they have been stagnant for a few months, however, our couple has never been given the chance to have more than a couple of weeks worth of happiness, and I am ticked that I and man of my fellow Shadam fans have been played for fools. I hope something happens in the future that makes sense because this is all really bazaare. I am going to continue to have a wait and see approach, usually the end of the year November-December is when our couple reunites so I will hang around til then, if not I'm done. If Chadam for some ridiculous reason, are the couple this show is sticking with then I at least want to see some happiness for Sharon.

So not buying that this is the end of Shadam. I dont care who ordered what with these writers, they had gold with Shadam and as long as MM and SC are employed on Y&R, Shadam will always be a possibility. I believe Chadam will be over by fall.....

Good Morning All! Cant wait to read your post from last night and this morning. I love Sharon and Adam and will not give up until an official from CBS or Sony tells me or MAB her self that Shadam is over. I do not believe what NB said I think he meant Shictor not Shadam.
