About the kiss again. I think I was just expecting that chelsea would have been the one throwing herself on him and I was shocked to see that adam actually seemed to enjoy it. I may have been blinded by hate LOL! so my interpretation of the kiss may have been more than what it actually was. I just hope all of you are right. IN the end we all want shadam back

I agree Lolita the only thing that matters is Chelsea is just a bump in the road and Sharon and Adam will reunite and soon I hope. I do not think he enjoyed the kiss just the contact with a person. He has not had any physical contact since February. Just the touch of another person makes you feel more alive.

Has anyone read a recap or seen Mondays soap? It was the best in a long while. Sharons heart was on her sleeve and Little Nicky told Sharon he loves Phyllis. She was surprised but not as hurt as she was over Adam things will come back around for Adam and Sharon.

I just watched the 4/27 & 4/30. I agree with those of you that believe Adam and Chelsea comfort one another. They are both outcasts. They only have each other. Adam has no idea that Sharon is stil on his side.
I don't mind the closeness between Chelsea and Adam. I am hoping that Sharon will grow as a woman. Her need for men is borderline disgusting. SPOILER **********
They show her devastated by Adam and Chelsea. Then they show her jealous of Phick. Then they show her lonely and longing for a loving relationship.
Finally, someone that has always been there for her shows up. Victor is the father she never had. I pray they keep this relationship just that. Father/Daughter.
Adam has Sharon in his heart. Chelsea will be a friend with benefit. She just may not know it.

Well, as one who always calls it as I see it ... and remains the eternal optimist ... I think we need to have reasonable expectations and accept what is being offered (like it or not).

Adam is where he finds himself, in many cases not his own doing, but going forward, he is attempting to be the master of his own universe. His relationship with Sharon for the last three years has been one of turmoil, but passion, hurt but love, betrayal, yet sacrifice .... having said, this is the first time Adam is facing a new scenario: He is attempting to be the man he knows he can and should be; whatever he is doing at this point ... as he has said several times ... it is for HIMSELF ... not for Sharon, not for Chelsea, not for his father.

But Sharon is NOT in his life now ... he is accepting that, because he has no other choice; and he is attempting to move ahead ... not thru darkness but thru enlightenment. Along the way he has met Chelsea. Chelsea has nothing to do with Sharon ... she is not a replacement for her; she is her own person who will have her own relationship with Adam ... and he with her. At this point (up thru CA Fri/US Mon, I think the path is fairly predictable in the present scenario. Sharon has resolvedly ended her relationship with Adam (whatever the reasons do not matter) but her heart has not let go. She is finding his growing relationship with Chelsea to be extremely upsetting to her. Chelsea is coming to know Adam and he is the first person, let alone man, who has shown her tenderness, sincerity ... and, as any young woman, there is a physical attraction to him. Adam is coming to know Chelsea. She is clearly NOT the first woman to treat him kindly. Adam has gone through a multitude of emotions with Sharon for three years. He has never said he does not love her anymore, so we must assume he does. On the other hand, this time he is not pursuing her, because he believes it is futile, he is giving her the distance he believes she wants and also perhaps because, after three years, the hurt and rejection has made him guarded and self-contained with Sharon. Chelsea is separate and apart for Adam; she is a friend, someone he thinks he can trust; they have been in each other's corners thus far in their short relationship and he has certainly been through very close situations with her and her baby, who she has now given up. He is trying to be her friend, her comfort. But he was physically drawn to her ... like any man who is lonely and looking for answers ... she is young, attractive and he is discovering a certain bond with her. And there will be more intimacy coming ... that should be a given and I always take it from where I see it coming. I am not angry at Adam; I am not blaming Chelsea; I am not blaming Sharon ... it is the S/L that is creating a triangle for the three of them, all the while placing Sharon into a self-deprecating situation from which she will ultimately emerge and take control of her life. I do not foresee that she will be intimate with Victor .... I see that readily between Adam and Chelsea (always have) ... so until I actually see that occur, I will stick to my vibes.

Chelsea right now is at a brink: She is being drawn to Adam but she does not want to get hurt; she sees the ties between Adam and Sharon. Adam is not choosing Chelsea over Sharon ... Sharon is not in the running. For him at this point, he is choosing life ... and that life at the moment includes a budding relationship with Chelsea. Sharon is finding herself in a precarious situation: She is advising, in effect, that the man she love move on with his life; she told him in her card that he deserves to have someone in his life and she hopes he finds what he is looking for. The problem is that she does not really mean it ... he found what he wanted in Sharon and she is not available. And Sharon is upset contemplating that he MAY be moving on. So in Fri CA episode,Sharon is clearly affected seeing Adam with Chelsea (surmissing what is going on); Chelsea is sensing the tension and looking to flea; Adam is torn between his shock at finding Sharon at his door, card in him, his guilt and his feelings of helplessness. Both women bolt, first Sharon, then Chelsea (each falling apart outside his presence in the hallway). Adam reads the card ... the message Sharon sends to him only accentuates his feelings of hopelessness, his fingers hover over her number on the phone ... at the end, the cake that Chelsea ordered is delivered to him; he takes it to Chelsea's suite and they agree just to share the cake at this moment. We know it is not going to end there. Sharon, on the other hand, finds Nick who advises her that he is marrying Phyllis (but not that Phyllis is pregnant); Sharon is obviously dismayed ... which I found ridiculous but I take it as everything else .. a need for a little triangle with Phick. And at the end, Victor finds Sharon sitting alone and upset.

So we are left with a budding triangle between Sharon/Adam Chelsea which, at this moment, pitts Adam/Chelsea in a growing relationship to which Sharon reacts adversely, a bit of history with her Phick triange and, lastly, we add Victor to the mix ... and its effect on Adam (and consequently its effect on Chelsea and Sharon). This is the direction toward which we are headed.

I have no doubt that the roads will bring Shadam together another time. And I leave it at that. I am attemping to enjoy the ride as we go along ... and this time I am managing to do it ... which is good.
