There was kissing on the US Fri and then the followup kissing on the CA Fri/US Mon episode. My take: It was better than average, considerably less than Shadam, superior to Kevin/Chloe, maybe on an average with Phyllis/Ronan, except Phyllis is too dramatical and Chelsea was better. I thought their hug was extremely stiff, the kisses got better and by CA FRI I really thought MCE was putting more into it than MM, but he was holding his own ... better than Nick.

More comparisons: On a par with Neil/Harmony, way better than Jack/Nikki, Victor/Nikki or Victor/Gen.

So all in all MM/MCE did okay, no shame on them. But .... NOT Shadam. MM and SC have perfected Shadam, worked closely together and have invested heart and soul; they trust each other, they work as one.

No competition for Shadam with Adam/Chelsea ... and once the shock effect wears off, we will not be watching so closely.

I guess the hoopla is all because Adam never really had another woman post Sharon. I do not find it annoying; it is soap; it happens; I have my favorites ... I do not have anthing against Chelsea (or MCE); frankly, Sharon is not offerng Adam to come back ... why in the world should he keep persisting. I know he has in the past but, firstly, in the past he has done some horrible things that he should have been persistent about; this time he really did not. So we can argue that all night long; I'm not blaming Sharon but I sure as heck am not blaming Adam. Secondly, he is trying, in his new enlightenment, to give her what he believes she wants ...

Chelsea is not the issue; Victor is not the issue; the issue is Sharon must grow, control her own life, her heart,and not be influenced by everyone else. She told Adam in KS that life for them is so simple and uncomplicated when they are alone. She needs to get back to that feeling when others are around.

She will ... after a path thru Victor (which until I see it I do not believe includes any sexual encounters), a triangle with Chelsea and finally her own development.

And I will be with her and my man Adam all the way; and until we get there I will enjoy each of their splendid performances, no matter where it takes them.
