The writers are clumsily trying to create deceit on Billy's part, by having him withhold info about the gun going off. Other than trying to mess with Villy, putting up a wall between them, why wouldn't Billy tell the truth about everything? We'll never know what the true end game was with Billy? Was he going to drive him somewhere, kill him, hide the body? I don't think even Billy knows. Driving and driving and driving, Billy was trying to stall for time to figure out what to do. But once again, Vicki asks, is that the whole truth, and sadly it's not. And maybe this is supposed to be the icing on the death of Villy cake.
What I hate about this though, is that maybe they are saying, THIS Billy, Billy after Delia's death, DT's Billy, not BM, IS the kind of person who could kill. The kind of man who could cheat on his wife and cover it up. The kind of man Victoria finally could NOT love, so that there's no hope for Villy. I'm praying they're not on this path.
About the reel choices, for Billy, I still go back to that scene with Jack and Billy, on Jack's birthday, when Billy hands Jack the birthday card on the cocktail napkin. Maybe that's more about Jack, but the love between those two brothers, makes me catch my breath even now. But yeah, Delia's broken plate, Billy on the floor, that's probably the most powerful.
For Victoria, I agree, the scene with Nick, when she unloads her feelings, so stunning. AH, too, had so much to choose from.
Still cannot believe some of these submissions though. Anita? That's a head scratcher. And Kelly has yet to show any range besides an emotional zombie. Can't wait for the guys' submissions to show up, wondering what MM will do. Yes, he's got good reason to submit, but would people even vote for him? He's in a difficult situation all the way around.
