Quote My-iceVilly: I love that Billy didn't take off his ring at the end but did like a fist grip thing when they showed his hand, clear sign that he isn't ready to take it off, that he isn't giving up.

I wonder if Vicki is really pregnant now cause she did said that Billy was right, that she did chose to believe the affair cause it was a lot easier than believing that he would gamble again after the kidnapping. So I don't think that it was just the hormones then, she actually wanted to believe the affair but really would that have been easier for her, can't be, neither one would be.

I still can't see why Adam's part in Billy gambling again or him blackmailing him still haven't been reveal yet. I don't know why but I feel like Vicki is going to tell Adam the truth and then she will find out from him that he really did know about Billy gambling again. I think that they will either reveal both truths to each other which will end in a huge blow up or Vicki will stop in her tracks in not telling Adam the truth once she hears Adam jokingly mentions Billy gambling again. I am feeling a huge confrontation coming up with Adam & Vicki, I will be shocked if there isn't one. Maybe one of them will want revenge on the other or something.

I like that he made a fist too, then they went to Kevin, taking his ring off and slamming it on the table.

I've heard Gamblers Anonymous was a good support system for addicts like Billy. But how exactly does GA work? Does anyone know someone who's dealt with them?

Do they have a 12 step program too? What is the usual trigger for gambling? Feelings of inadequacy? Anger? Desire to be rich? Desire to just hang off of a ledge for dear life? I live in a city where there are casinos, and we have so many cases of people who lose their entire paychecks week after week.

As much as I love Vicki, I don't think Billy can get through this drama without revisiting Vicki's abrupt decision to return to NE. And the constant pounding on Billy Boy by Victor has to take its toll. But the truth is, Billy was gambling long before Vicki and Victor entered the picture.

The only thing I've seen on GA was on L&OSVU, but I think that show is realistic. The new female cop, Amanda is a gambling addict. Even got beat up by her bookies. The captain pretty much gave her one chance to straighten up, by taking her to a GA meeting, or he was going to fire her. The meeting was portrayed the same as AA meetings.

I would imagine the reasons for gambling are as varied as the people doing it, but we've pretty much seen that Billy never feels like he's good enough. For Victoria to say one minute that she was going to concentrate on nothing but him and their family, and in the next breath decide to go back to NE, that has to play on his insecurities.

I agree I was a little disappointed that Vicki's obsession with Adam & Newman wasn't mentioned in their convo especially when she said that he chose gambling over their marriage & their baby making time. They IMO both did chose their personal obsessions over their marriage but at least with Vicki she was able to quit but I would like to think that Billy helped her with that decision a little bit. That being said gambling can be a very dangerous addiction if not caught on early, the kidnapping is a very good example of that. Luckily Billy was making money in his gambling than losing it, that doesn't mean that he is completely out of the woods as yet where that is concern, hopefully he is cause I don't think that I would be able to take either Billy or Vicki getting hurt cause some guy claims that Billy owes him money. Hopefully this will now just be about Billy's recovery. We don't need anymore drama we already got Summer's paternity to deal with and that u know other thing.

As for Billy and how they will handle his gamble addiction from here on out, there was this thing that I posted a few weeks back about how to treat a gambling addict. I only posted the first two paragraphs and I think that I remember it saying something like the addict needs to be aware that they are an addict first before the recovery can begin which Billy has admitted, at least when he is with Vicki. We saw before that where he threw the pack of cards in the garbage and then pick it back up and then he denied to Chloe that he had his gambling under control which he obviously doesn't. As for why he had started who knows, we all know that he was really p!ssed with Vicki after she had announced that she was going to Newman and then the same night Adam had goated him into it after Barry showed up and Carmine just basically really gave him the final push off that cliff and it was all down hill from there.

You know in my heart of hearts and just basically how I loathe him now, I would really like to blame it all on Carmine. He was Abby's boyfriend once and I am pretty sure that he had cared about her and he knew that her uncle was gambling and saying that he shouldn't be gambling in the first place and he (Carmine) instead of telling her (Abby) anything as a friend would he continued to push Billy in his gambling, telling him that they could start a after hour poker thing. Yeah, yeah Adam knew about Billy gambling again as well but at least in his case he is Adam and honestly cause of his friendship with Jack I didn't expect Adam to hold it over Billy's head. Still this is really all on Billy, he chose to gamble again but then again Billy has never been to a gambling AA thing where he could call on his sponsor to help him or go talk to his therapist.

Still see people out there saying that Vicki isn't supporting Billy but that Chloe wants to. She won't help her own husband with a problem that she started but wants to help Billy with his. Chloe is also doing the same thing with Kevin, she helped Kevin at a distant just like Vicki will be doing with Billy but yet Vicki is seen as the bad one. Riggghhht!

I loved that ending, Billy looking at his ring (it seemed as if he was looking at it) and making a fist, it's not coming off, no matter what. He knows he belongs to Victoria and she knows she belongs to him. She was so sad, sitting there crying, not knowing what's going to happen. Their deep love for each other will see them through this.

    Villy forever!!

I agree with you. I'm disappointed about that as well. I love Vicky and have ever since she was first SORASd and played by Heather Tom. I am not too happy with Vic right now. I'm giving her a pass that it's the hormones and I think Nikki will be able to give her some perspective. I would love for some great bonding scenes between Billy and Jack. I also look forward to Nikki helping Billy. It would be nice if they had Victoria confide in her old friend Neil as well. Unfortunately he's so wrapped up with the Michaelson/Rogans and Lily I doubt we'll see this.

Well, I'm not interested in a repeat of 2011 (except the reunion), so I'm hoping that just due to maturity and the fact that they have Johnny to think about, Billy won't spiral down that far again. And I'm hoping that they will communicate better than they did then. Even if Victoria's keeping her distance. Victoria won't be grieving anything other than the absence of Billy, so I'm hoping they'll be nicer to each other when they cross paths. Maybe Billy can send Victoria some flowers to let her know he hasn't given up on them

I can see him sending her flowers, I don't see a repeat of 2011. I'm hoping they might spend July 4th together.
