I like Chelsea. They laid her 'redemption' on a little thick, but I think she is sincere. Over time I can see her and Villy actually being friendly. I don't know about friends, but who knows. I think it depends on how this baby thing goes down.

Then again Victoria and Chloe couldn't stand each other and they are besties now. So it could happen with Chelsea, especially if Villy keep their word and let her be involved with his life.

I don't think Chelsea is mean spirited. I think she was manipulated by her mother and didn't know how to get out. Living with Villy and watching them support each other and LOVE each other no matter what she did -- I think that really affected her. She realized it was possible to have something other than what she was doing.

And she does want her son to have it all -- he will be loved so much. He will have a big family -- not to mention being a an heir to MULTIPLE empires (Abbott, Newman, Fenmore, Chancellor (cause you know Katherine will hook them all up) doesn't hurt!) This child will never want for anything. And really, neither will Chelsea because Villy will continue to care for her.

I also think Adam will play a role. I see him and Victoria getting closer. It is due time for him to have a sibling relationship that isn't full of hate.

They name the baby John.. Actually it was really sweet, Victoria says she named him and isnt budging. She tells him John and Billy says I love you.

Would they name the baby John Abbott if it werent Billy's baby? Im thinking no. Surely the writers arent that cruel. I for the first time have hope that they will keep the baby (and I NEVER wanted them to, I didnt want it to be Billy's at all!) At the very least they will have to share custody with Chelho, right? If its his bio baby, he cant be taken away. Right writers?

Awww. That is a great honor to his grandfather (and uncle). That is really cute. I think this baby is Billy's and even if Chelsea does change her mind, he will still be in their lives because of that. I hope Chelsea keeps her world. I can see her demanding to have him and then after a while realize that she in fact wants him to be raised by Villy.

I don't see them keeping her out of his life anyways. I bet they make her Godmother.

I'll admit to being on the not wanting Villy to keep this baby train but hearing that they're naming him John has tugged at my heartstrings. I still want a Babybott or even for them to get Lucy back but I don't know if I can stomach watching Vicky especially losing another baby. She's so in love with him already and attached to him. Frankly I just want Chelsea out of their lives and moving into a story with Adam so whatever makes that happen and steers to the story back to Villy then I'll take it!

It was quite the episode today, Villy are sooooo freakin cute, crazy in love , and absolutely crazy about that baby!!

So Johnny Abbott he is and that's who he will always be, even when it's revealed that Billy is not the bio dad! It's obvious from ChelHo statement to " love him no matter what", that this is where the story is going. And TGVN will be the one to reveal this as he can't stand Villy being happy. I also don't think the Ho is going to change her mind. This "selfless" act, doing what's best for her baby, is part of the Ho's redemption story, which is essential for keeping this character around.

Just as they have shown by their love of Lucy, being blood related to Johnny Abbott doesn't matter. Villy has the capacity to love this child regardless of who his blood relatives are, which makes this a beautiful adoption story. Hopefully, TPTB recognize how powerful this story could be and the positive message it is sending out.

Are you kidding me? This "adoption" is sick, stupid and disgusting. It's not even a real "adoption" story... it's Billy's CHEATING story... Billy's bastard, his love child, the baby out of wedlock that he made with some woman he met in a bar. It's all about Billy abandoning Victoria last summer and having sex with Chelsea and making a baby with HER, not his wife. It's a constant reminder of Billy's infidelity and disrespect for Victoria, and the fact that they will NEVER have a child together (and thank goodness for that! )

Victoria is thrown under the bus and dragged through the mud to excuse Billy's cheating. The writers will force her to be desperate for his cheat baby and forget Reed to whitewash what Billy did. She is nothing but his nanny and housekeeper for HIS bio-children while her own boy is neglected.

I wish Victoria would divorce this jerk and go spend some time with her real son. Where is Reed anyway?
