Ok I have to tell you all this has been on my mind for 2 days now. I am a nurse as you all know and it really really bugged me that when everyone went in to see Colleen the first time and she had an IV and was all dressed in a hospital gown and on a ventilator her face was filthy! Couldn't anyone was her face??? Even when everyone came in no one washed her face. JT pet her head like a dog and oohed over her but didn't it occur to him to wash her face? What about Sharon? She is a mother, why didn't she do it? I don't know I just thought it was pretty stupid that she had on a clean gown and was all prepped but no one washed her face. |

I was wondering the same thing nurse! I am no nurse, but, I am a Mom, and washing her face would be something I would do. It would be a gesture of caring and tenderness, and allow me to get a bit closer to my child too. Not only that, but surely the dirt would contaminate the sterile atmosphere of Colleen's hospital room? Maybe they are short nursing staff at GCH? |

They are short on nurses...the same nurse that came to Colleen's room to give her a bath, was the same nurse that treated Lily in ER, and the same nurse that led Dru to the psych ward...talk about multi-tasking... |

LOL you made me smile......I'm glad it was not my OCD kicking in and someone else felt the way I did. I kept thinking oh honey if I were there I would be washing her face, brushing her hair, and telling her to rest baby and when you are ready you fight and wake up to me! I loved Adrian talking to her so sweet. My favorite thing was when he said when I close my eyes I can see every moment we have ever shared....be still my heart! I love that couple. |

I also didn't like the sign on her door that said "elopement risk" No reason to think she was going to take off and if you know anything about a psych unit you'd know they are all elopement risks and the doors are locked going out. |
