BIOGRAPHY

William Russ was born in Virginia, and is the son of a naval officer. William graduated from the University of Michigan where he majored in drama, and trained for acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse.

He began his television career on the now-defunct soap Another World, and went on to have roles in dozens of TV series and movies before joining The Young and the Restless.

William is married and the father of a daughter and son. He enjoys thrill sports and is an avid downhill skier.
