BIOGRAPHY

Melody Thomas Scott made her motion picture debut at the young age of eight in the Alfred Hitchcock film, "Marnie". She had previously studied tap, singing, ballet and jazz. Years later, she attended the University of Southern California, where she majored in music.

Melody has worked for decades in Primetime television on series ranging from "Ironside" in the seventies, to "My Name is Earl" in 2007. She has acted in made-for-television movies and feature films as well.

Melody is married to Edward Scott, who was once the Executive Producer of The Young and the Restless. In 1989, they co-founded the "Save the Earth Foundation", an organization that endeavors to create awareness about environmental issues. The pair has three daughters, Alexandra, Jennifer, and Elizabeth.
