Leaving the series after second season.

Crystal Chappell reported in an email that Kim Turrisi has decided to leave Open Book Productions and "Venice." Chappell states, "This is her decision. We feel fortunate for her contribution as co-creator, co-writer and co-executive producer for the last two seasons, but she has decided to pursue other opportunities and will be missed." Chappell goes on to dish on Season 3. "We are so happy and proud to be moving forward and can't wait for Season 3 of "Venice" and the premiere of "The Grove." We are currently in pre-production of "Venice" and hope to shoot in early September with the same wonderful cast and crew and new surprises! Your continued support and loyalty makes this all worthwhile, and I appreciate each and every one of you."

Kudos to Chappell, Turrisi and the cast and crew of the webseries for their earlier Creative Arts Emmy win in June for "Venice." They won for 'Outstanding Special Class Short Format Daytime'.
