According to Deadline, "The Vampire Diaries" writer and producer Julie Plec has a new show in the works. She will be teaming up with Greg Berlanti of "Arrow" to create a new adaptation of the British 1970s sci-fi series, "The Tomorrow People" for the CW.
The original series, which aired from 1973-1979, followed a group of young people with superhuman powers. Apparently, Plec and Berlanti have been fans of the show for years and have finally snagged licensing rights.
