"VD" stars Paul Wesley (Stefan) and Torrey DeVitto (Meredith) will be hosting H-Couture 2012 for The Humane Society of the United States. The event will showcase menswear and womenswear which has been designed not to be harmful to animals. John Bartlett, Victoria Bartlett, Marc Bouwer, Kimberly Ovitz and Charlotte Ronson are some of the designers involved.

Wesley and wife DeVitto will also be helping to launch the No Fur Pin campaign, inviting fellow celebrities to make the pledge not to wear animal fur. Proceeds from H-Couture 2012 will go to benefit The HSUS's Fur-Free Campaign and the Hollywood Outreach program. The event will take place on Saturday September 22 at a private Brentwood estate.

The happy couple are not the only actors on the show showing their love for animals. For more "VD" related charity appearances, be sure to check out Ian Somerhalder at Strut Your Mutt.
