Although we won't get another fresh episode until December 2, Soaps.com can give you a glimpse at some of the other things that will be happening in Mystic Falls during the closing month of the year.
Considering how many times her friends and family have nearly lost their lives and unlives, Elena has had just about enough of them fighting so hard to keep her safe from what seems to be her inevitable doom. While she pouts and ponders, Stefan and Katherine keep up the mind games that they've been playing for nearly two hundred years. Damon is distracted by other things though, like the mysterious woman named Jules who pops up in town looking for Mason.
Across town, Mason's nephew Tyler is freaking out because a full moon is approaching and he knows he won't be able to control what happens to him. Caroline is by his side to try and help him cope with turning into a monster. Could there be more to the pair than just their shared ghoulishness? It certainly looks that way. "What I think is so wonderful about any romantic relationship, in my opinion, there's usually some sort of friendship that starts that off. Who knows what'll happen throughout the rest of the season, but as of right now, I think it's a beautiful parallel for both of these characters that are kind of embarking on this new part of their lives in such an extreme supernatural way," Candice Accola (Caroline) told ZapIt about the romance that might be blossoming between the characters.
And speaking of possible, if awkward romances, Bonnie and Luca continue to work together. Although they are hiding a lot from each other and may not even be working for the same ends, that doesn't stop them from pooling their witching resources together to cast some spells that could have unexpected results. Complicating things, Elijah is still looming large and pokes up his head where no one was expecting him.
