More Klaus please?

The shooting for the backdoor pilot of "The Originals" started yesterday. Star Joseph Morgan (Klaus) took to Twitter last night to tease fans with this:

It has now been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter that Claire Holt will be joining her fictional siblings on "The Originals." She has signed on to continue playing Rebekah on the spin-off.

Leah Pipes has now been added to the cast of "The Originals." The Hollywood Reporter wrote that she will be playing the part of Camille, a psychology student and the show's requisite human character. Pipes previously had roles on the shows "The Deep End" and "Life Is Wild."

The cast of the spin-off continues to grow. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Danielle Campbell ("Prison Break") has now been added. She will be playing Davina, a powerful witch with some personal demons.

has now reported that Charles Michael Davis will be joining the growing cast of the spin-off. He has been cast as Klaus' evil protege Marcel. Some viewers may recognize the actor from his roles on "The Game" and "Switched At Birth."

Deadline is reporting that Daniella Pineda ("Homeland") has been added to the prospective cast of "The Originals." She will be playing a witch named Sophie who has a vocal role as a revolutionary leader among her fellow witches.

According to Deadline, it looks like Daniel Gillies (Elijah) is on board if "The Originals" manages to successfully spin-off from "VD."

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that "VD" executive producer and writer Julie Plec could soon be making some fans very happy. She is currently in talks to launch a spinoff of "VD" which would concentrate on Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and his bloodthirsty siblings.

If the series gets picked up, "The Originals" will air on the CW and be produced by Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. will keep you updated with more about this story as it develops.
