Although "The Vampire Diaries" did not pick up any of the People's Choice Awards they were nominated for, one cast member did get some recognition at the awards ceremony. Nina Dobrev and the rest of "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower's" cast and crew took home the trophy for Favorite Dramatic Movie. Congratulations.

The release date for "The Perks of Being A Wallflower" has been moved to September 21 in New York and Los Angeles. It will be receiving limited release in theaters one week later. To see when it will open in your area, please visit their official website.

Summit Entertainment has stated that September 14 will be the official opening of "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower." The film will have limited release in select cities. Keep an eye on your local listings.

Nina Dobrev (Katherine/Elena) will be putting another role under her belt soon. The actress has been cast in the lead role of "The Perks of Being A Wallflower." Dobrev will be playing the part of Candace in the film adaptation of the bestselling novel by Stephen Chbosky. It details a year in the life of a high school freshman in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during 1991–1992.

The film's cast also includes Emma Watson, Paul Rudd and Logan Lerman.
