Lauren Cohan (Rose) will not be able to attend the event. She was cast in the pilot for the new CW series "Heavenly" and will be shooting in Vancouver at the time.

Ian Somerhalder (Damon) will be at the convention. He is not appearing as an official EyeCon guest, however, so the free autograph that comes with Platinum tickets will not include him. There will be chances for paid autograph and photo ops with the actor. All proceeds from his appearance will be going to his charity The Ian Somerhalder Foundation.

Lauren Cohan (Rose) just died as Rose, but she'll be back to meet fans of the show. She has joined the growing list of actors attending the event.

Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood) has been the latest actor to be officially added to the roster of cast members who will be appearing at the upcoming fan event.

A fan made film/video contest has also been added to the events. Videos must be original works running less than 10 minutes and be set in The Vampire Diaries universe.

Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy) has been officially confirmed as a guest for the event.

Chris W. Martin (ex-Zach Salvatore) has now been added to the event's guest list. Musical acts Jessarae and the Nova Echo will also be performing.

Robert Pralgo (ex-Mayor Lockwood) has been added to the list of special guests for the convention. More events have also been added, including a Miss Mystic Falls Pageant, Friday Night Cocktail Carnival Party and Saturday Night Celebrity Banquet.

The Vampire Diaries fans have something to look forward to next March. EyeCon will be running the first North American convention dedicated to the series in Atlanta, Georgia.

Paul Wesley (Stefan) has been confirmed as a special guest at the event and more members of the show's cast and crew are expected to follow. The event will feature Q&A sessions, autographs, panel discussions and even a masquerade ball. It will run from March 25 to the 27, 2011.
