She walks over to Cane and asks him to express her and Lily's wishes. Cane says he can't. Mac and Cane each take the stand to plead their side of things. Michael and Cane's lawyer approach the bench, where the judge says she is leaning toward ruling in Mr. Ashby's favor.
Lily comes into the courtroom with Liv. She hopes she isn't too late! She greets Cane and Mac, and asks the judge if she can testify. Cane wonders how she found out about the lawsuit. Cane asks Lily if she understands his reasons for doing this. She knows his heart was in the right place. Mac speaks to Jill, and says telling Lily was the right thing to do. The judge announces she's ready to hear Lily's testimony. Lily tells the judge she feels even more strongly now that Mac shouldn't have the amnio. She can't bear something happening to the twins. Lily says the only way she can die in peace is if Cane and the babies are together.
