Vikki comes home and tells Billy she told Victor she's back in the fight for Newman. Billy says he told Jack he'd work at Newman, adding that he's in bad shape. He mentions he stopped at Adam's place and Adam played it cool. They agree it will be tough to get Adam out of Newman. Billy wonders if she's okay with not telling Victor what they're really up to. Vikki asks if Billy thinks she's playing him. He thinks she'd pick Daddy over Jack. She counters, "How do I know you're not playing me?" They agree they're a team first and discuss ideas. Billy says, "Poker." He wants to demonstrate bluffing. She's reluctant, but they play. Billy fakes her out and compares cards to business. As they play, Vikki asks if he's all in. They end up kissing and making love. After, Vikki admits she didn't tell Victor that Billy was going back to Newman. He chuckles that she chickened out. Billy warns they have to trust only each other - nobody else.
At home, Adam complains to Chelsea about Billy telling him there's a new sheriff in town. Chelsea says he needs someone to take his place at Newman. Adam didn't have a drunk surfer in mind. He goes on about the situation until Chelsea hollers, "Stop!" She asks what it will take for him to be free of these people. She says she and her mother were always running and she needs them to start a new life. Adam insists he's out the door. They debate moving to New York, Paris, or Milan and decide on Paris. Adam hugs her but looks at his phone. They end up playing strip French quiz. When she is down to bra and panties, he admits he 'may' have had French lessons in school. After making love, Adam books their plane tickets and a suite at a ritzy hotel in Paris. Later, Chelsea overhears Adam leave Sharon a message about the position at Newman.
Phyllis encourages Jack, who is going through terrible withdrawal symptoms at the cabin. He tries to leave and falls. Jack hallucinates that Phyllis is the hooker. "Don't play games with me Stephanie. You're dead!" Jack starts rambling about what happened. Phyllis tells him he's hallucinating. Jack realizes he's in the cabin and rants about how Phyllis got the key - Ashley and Billy turned on him! He then sneers at Phyllis and tells her emotionally how she tore his heart out. Phyllis calls the doctor in a panic - she needs help. Phyllis wakes Jack up from a bad dream. She mentions him rambling earlier about some woman named Stephanie that he killed. Jack jokes it off but gets tearful. Phyllis reassures him that he's strong and holds him while he shivers and sweats. Jack asks why they couldn't make their marriage work. She doesn't know - she hurts the ones she loves. As Jack worsens again, he urges Phyllis to go home. She cries along with him and tells him she's staying.
Nick deals with faulty wiring issues at The Underground. Avery brings cupcakes. Nick expresses second thoughts about opening the nightclub. Avery asks if he's afraid of failing and gives him a pep talk.
Nick and Avery come through her door making out. Later, Nick finds a note from Avery saying she's gone out. He takes out Dylan's dog tags and searches him online.
Avery goes into the nightclub with more cupcakes to leave as a surprise for Nick.
Avery returns to her apartment and confronts Nick about snooping. He says he came across the dog tags in the drawer and was curious - he looked Dylan up online and saw that he was killed in action in Afghanistan a few years ago. He asks if they ended because he died. Avery says it doesn't matter - she's moved on. Nick's embarrassed. Avery offers to answer any questions. They make out.
In Bethesda, Dylan McAvoy packs his bag and looks at his plane ticket to Genoa City.

Carmine says to Lauren, "I had pegged Mister District Attorney as a smart guy." Lauren says he's actually quite brilliant. Carmine asks, "Then what's he doing letting his beautiful wife sit here alone?"
Sharon and Nick regard Noah. Nick asks, "Did Adriana call you?" Noah says he thinks he may be in way over his head.
