Sofia and Malcolm are at Crimson Lights. He's still upset about the motorcycle incident and thinks it was Blake. They talk about how much Lily needs her family right now. Sofia wonders how she'll recover the money from Blake. Malcolm growls, "There's going to be a reckoning."
At the Chancellor Estate, Cane tells Kay his talk with Lily didn't go well, and says it was hard to say goodbye to her and the babies. Kay offers for him to stay there, but he doesn't want to be around Colin and Jill. When Cane tells Kay he couldn't be truthful with Lily because it's too dangerous, Kay suggests that he enlist the help of the people he now considers family, including Lily. Cane says he loves her, and then leaves.
Lily and the babies are staying at Neil's house. She thanks him for letting them stay there, and talks about Cane leaving, saying she could see he was hiding more secrets. She worries about keeping the twins from their father. Sofia and Malcolm come in, and Lily learns about the motorcycle incident, and that they think it was Blake. Lily listens as her family insists she needs to close the door on Cane and never look back. Lily tells them she is worried about Cane - Blake will go after him! She announces she's taking the babies and going home.
In his room, Blake leaves a message for Colin asking for another chance, saying he'll find a way to restore his faith in him. Blake then books a one way plane ticket to Australia. As he packs, he gets a text from Rippley in Australia, which tells him not to come back because Colin is setting him up.
Colin is at the church going over details. He sees a missed call from Blake.
Billy and Jill take a seat at the Club. She tells him she and man she's been seeing are getting married tonight. Billy says it's nuts. Jill explains that Colin proposed and they just decided to do it. They bicker. She calls Colin to come meet Billy. Colin arrives and Billy asks to speak to him alone. He bluntly asks what the rush is to get his mother's signature on a marriage license. Colin claims it's only about love. Jill returns, and Billy challenges Colin to put off the wedding. Jill says Billy is just like the rest. Billy tells her none of them want to see her make the worst mistake of her life.
Cane goes into the house and realizes Lily and the twins are gone. He takes a pen and paper and writes down his last secret - the entire truth - he feels he owes it to her. Cane's phone rings - it's Billy complaining about Jill getting married tonight at First United Church. Cane hangs up and swears. He phones Colin and tells him he won't allow the wedding to go forward. Colin pleads with him not to stop it - he's his son and he wants him to be part of his life. Cane threatens to tell everyone the truth and bring the Chancellor wrath down on him. Colin hangs up. Cane finishes his note, and then leaves Jill a message that he has something to tell her.
Lily is driving in the car. She leaves Cane a message saying she is out trying to track him down. She calls Kay, who tells her Cane was there and went looking for her. Billy is at Kay's and takes the phone to tell her about Jill's wedding, Lily decides to try the church.
Still at the Club, Jill notes that Colin is upset after his phone call. He shrugs that it was just business. Jill is still sad about Billy, but won't change her mind about the wedding. Colin leaves to go buy rings.
At Katherine's house, she and Billy discuss how neither of them trust Colin. Kay says no one does, adding the nothing good will ever come of this marriage.
Colin walks into Blake's room and says he has one more job for him. He tells him Cane knows about his wedding and is worked up about it. He wants Blake to keep him away. Blake agrees, and offers to get rid of Cane permanently. Colin orders him to keep Cane from getting into the church only, adding that if he does anything stupid, he'll pay.
Lily is at the church and phones Neil to tell him she's waiting for Cane there. Jill comes in dressed for her wedding. Lily says she'll try to keep Cane from disrupting the ceremony, and also that she's going to try to forgive him. Colin walks up and Jill tells him Lily is waiting for Cane - she's hoping he's on his way. Colin says he hopes she can talk him into staying for the wedding.
Neil hangs up from Lily at his place and tells Malcolm to go to Lily's house. Neil says he'll go to the church - he doesn't want Lily alone with Cane. Malcolm wonders if Blake will show his face.
Malcolm and Sofia let themselves into Lily's house. A gust of wind blows Cane's note to Lily off the table.
Blake is on the church steps when Cane appears and tells him, "Move aside, I'm going in." The struggle, as inside, Jill and Colin's ceremony begins. Lily heads toward the door. As she steps outside, Blake aims at her with his gun. Cane jumps in the way. As Jill and Colin are pronounced husband and wife, they hear a shot. Outside, Cane falls to the ground, as does Blake who is out cold. Lily screams and the stroller bounces down the steps. Neil arrives and stops the stroller as Colin and Jill emerge and watch Cane dying.

Malcolm tells Sofia they need to be able to trust each other if they're going to get married. She asks, "You don't trust me anymore?"
Billy, Katherine, and Murphy sit in the Chancellor living room. Billy muses that Jill and Colin are probably celebrating their little hearts out by now.
Lily, Colin, and Jill hover over Cane. Lily cries and Jill frantically repeats, "You're going to be fine!"
