According to Soap Opera Digest, Michelle Stafford has confirmed that she has indeed decided to move on from "Y&R." She will last be seen on air in mid-June.

A representative for "Y&R" responded to our request for a statement by saying their policy is that they do not comment on the contract status of their actors.

E! News is reporting that Michelle Stafford will be leaving her role as Phyllis Summers Newman after 16 years with "The Young and the Restless." Apparently someone close to the show was the source for the news.

Soaps.com has reached out to "Y&R" for a statement in this regard. No further details are available at this time. We will update readers as more information becomes available.
