On a break.

According to a report by Soap Opera Digest, "The Young and the Restless" co-head writer, Scott Hamner, will be taking a leave of absence from the show. The writer, who's been on staff at "Y&R" since 2006, claims that executive producer/head writer, Maria Arena Bell, convinced him to just take a few months break after he told her he had made the decision to let his contract run out.
