Biography

Emily was born in Bedfordshire, England, but moved to Carlsbad, California with her family when she was nine years old. Her parents, Flora and Michael O’Brien, say Emily always wanted to act. She acted in plays at Carlsbad High School and at MiraCosta College, where she completed a theater major in 2005. Emily is known for working in dialect, and speaks Persian, French and Spanish fluently.

In 2006, Emily landed the role of Jana Hawkes on the Daytime drama, The Young and the Restless, and she has also acted in a film called "Seance".

Emily loves to sing and cook, and is enthralled by clothing, music and movie stars from past era's, especially the 30's, 40's, and 50's!
