Camryn Grimes was born in Van Nuys, California on January 7 1990 to Heather Grimes and Preston Lee. Grimes has two sisters, Shelby and Tatum, and a brother, Dakota. Her uncle is actor Scott Grimes.

Camryn Grimes kicked off her acting career in 1997 when she appeared on the TV series, "Jag," and also landed the role of Cassie on "The Young and the Restless." Grimes played Cassie until the character's death in 2005 and then returned as Cassie's ghost in 2013. This led to the actress being offered another role on the soap, that of Cassie-lookalike, Mariah. Between 2005 and 2014, Grimes did many TV stints on shows such as "ER," Ghost Whisperer," and "NCIS: Los Angeles," and appeared in the hit movie, "Magic Mike."

Grimes is an avid swimmer, high diver, and dancer.
