Deconstructing B&B: Never invite Sheila Carter into your home image

As mentioned in the last Deconstructing B&B, viewers reveled in the returns of Sheila and Deacon, and though it was a bummer to see Deacon be carted away again so soon, it appears Sheila is sticking around, which bodes well for a scary summer and beyond. Thoughts:

The calm before the storm.
Ridge was apoplectic when Eric cruised into the Forrester mansion and announced Sheila as a visitor. It was pretty entertaining, and brought to mind the adage 'never invite a vampire into your home', hehe. As Sheila coolly took in her surroundings and made some initial observations over iced tea, anticipation simmered in viewers, and Ridge expressed our thoughts as he warned Quinn that his father was playing with fire. Though Eric’s strategy is to keep Sheila close, we know that will be of little consequence once she sets her sights on something – or someone – and her 'reformed' facade cracks. Given Sheila’s history on Y&R and B&B, it’s a given that all hell will break loose! Additionally, with Quinn having told Ridge she loves him, the sexual tension between them is another storm waiting to break. So good!

Sign the papers!
The anticipated storyline surrounding Baby Lizzie featured heavily this week and it started out very predictable with a lot of repetition. By mid-week, viewers were still more concerned about Nicole’s bad wig than the outcome of this dilemma. But the tide turned somewhat once Julius insinuated himself into the drama and ramped things up in that deliciously infuriating way of his. Zende stepping in and taking on Julius was a twist I didn't see coming and the scenes were intense. I was riveted! When Nicole first settled into refusing to sign the adoption papers, fans weighed in:

Sweat and goosebumps.
Still loving the sexy, fun vibe between Thomas and Sally - they give me goosebumps! I look forward to seeing the ups and downs of how they will work together as they develop their first line. While they’re seeing everything through rose-colored glasses at the moment, having different backgrounds, taste in fashion, and visions should definitely cause some bumps along the way in this partnership, and will keep things interesting.
