Rick says he's saving his speech for the reception. Ridge notices Katie's discomfort and says Katie's presence there today speaks for itself. Brooke agrees. Brooke begins her personal vows. At the Malibu house, Bill is antsy and angry. He tells Liam that Brooke shouldn't be marrying Ridge. Bill swills scotch and grumbles about destiny. He feels Brooke should have made hers with him. Bill wonders if Katie went to the wedding. Liam confirms that she is; Brooke asked her to be her matron of honor. Bill muses that at least one relationship is patched up. He gets Liam to have a drink with him and reminisces about good times with Brooke in Aspen and Monte Carlo. "It should have been the beginning of the rest of our lives." He can't understand why she's marrying Ridge. "What am I missing?" Bill complains that Brooke should know Ridge is a bad bet. Liam smirks. "Hope should know Wyatt's a liar." Bill rants about Ridge getting a free pass. Liam thinks Bill may just have to accept this.
